32-channel Rack Mixer with Built-in Wi-Fi

Put a Mackie DL32S in your rack, and you can mix from anywhere. All you need is an iPad and Mackie's Master Fader control app. 32 great-sounding Onyx+ mic preamps and onboard FX ensure a great-sounding performance. The DL32S also functions as a 32-in/32-out USB interface, so you can record the show then mix it later in the studio. You can also play back a full multitrack recording for a virtual sound check. The DL32S supports up to 20 iPads at once, so multiple engineers can work from one mixer. And with built-in Wi-Fi networking and instant recall of every setting, setup is a snap. The DL32S gets you into your mix like never before.

Control everything from anywhere with wireless mixing

Leave that bulky snake at home! Because you can control the Mackie DL32S with your iPad, you can place it anywhere. Even if the DL32S is onstage, you can walk around the venue to fine-tune your mix. It's a great way to ensure optimal sound quality for every member of your audience. And because the DL32S supports up to 20 iPads at once, multiple engineers can work from one DL32S. You can even set up personal mixes for each performer that are tweakable via any iOS device. Back in the day, you would've needed miles of cable and a pile of submixers to pull off this much signal routing. But with the DL32S in your rack, all you need is an iPad and your fingers!

All your connections are covered

With the Mackie DL32S in your live rig, you'll never run short of I/O. Providing you with 32 stereo-linkable input channels, 10 fully assignable XLR outputs, and 32 great-sounding Onyx+ mic preamps, the DL32S has your I/O needs covered. Of the 32 input channels, 16 are XLR jacks, 16 feature XLR/TRS combo jacks, and two include hi-Z inputs. On top of that, you also get 15 output buses, 8 stereo-linkable aux sends, 6 stereo-linkable subgroups, a Main L/R bus, and a headphone output. And best of all, the DL32S gives you total recall of your settings!

Integrated USB 2.0 audio interface

One of the Mackie DL32S's most useful features is multitrack recording and playback. Use the DL32S as an audio interface to record straight to your DAW. Play intermission music, backing tracks, and more. Play back your full multitrack recording for a virtual sound check. You can also use your DAW's audio plug-ins in a live environment. The DL32S is a value-packed, high-channel-count studio recording solution.

Create polished, professional-sounding mixes

Packed with DSP, the Mackie DL32S gives you 32 input channels with a 4-band parametric EQ, highpass filter, noise gate, and compression, as well as 15 output buses with a 4-band parametric EQ, highpass and lowpass filters, 31-band graphic EQ, compressor/limiter, and alignment delay. On top of that, you also get onboard delay, reverb, and modulation effects. With four stereo FX processors with dedicated sends and returns, full I/O routing with A/B sources per channel, and modern and vintage options for each processor, churning out polished, pro-quality mixes is no problem.

A large-format console in the palm of your hand

The Mackie DL32S supplies 32 channels of powerful digital mixing. You get wireless control over everything, including its processing and routing, via Mackie's Master Fader control app. The DL32S is tailor-made for live sound engineers who demand flexible wireless mixing. So, whether you work in a theater, house of worship, or concert hall — if you're serious about live sound, you owe it to yourself to check out the DL32S.

Works Exactly As It Should

So far I've only used it for practices. I had an issue initially connecting my iPad to the mixer but a quick response from Mackie Tech Support and I was good to go. The issue was my iPad, not the mixer, and was literally a 5 second fix.

Currently using internal router with no issues. There are only 2 iPads connected at the moment. Neither one has disconnected unexpectedly.

The master fader 5 app is very easy to use and set up. No matter what work flow you're used to I think this will be very intuitive and simple to learn.

Flawless.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. If you're looking for something that you want to have more tactile control over, then get something that has more tactile controls. That's not what this is. It's an ULTRA compact, solid workhorse interface to get tracks into your DAW. It has a bunch of toys / FX / whatever. But if you just need to get a high track count into your DAW for a live recording, go no further. Have been using this in many live recording situations with high track counts. Flawless unit.

Tried many 32 channel mixers

This is my favorite, I run a recording studio, sometimes I do live sound, somethimes I go to rehearsal spaces a record artists there. This mixer is the most portable 32 channel mixer Ive seen, the wifi is finicky, so I dont use it, I directly connect via ethernet to the same laptop im running protools, I only need a usb and ethernet snaked from the stage instead of a 32 chanmel snake or i could hook up my own modem and use it wirlessly in venues, the onyx preamps in this mixer, I love! more than the qsc, more than the x32, more than the tascam, more than the zoom. the app still works unlike alot of competitors and you can use any midi/mackie controler via a third party app called mixingstation thats a 5 or 10 dollar license, the plethura of input impedence options and the digital trim I can dial back -40 db allows me to not bring tons of di boxes with me to every gig, the mackie app is my favorite ui out of all the rack mixing apps Ive tried, and its affordable, if youre thinking about it, just order it, you wont regret it. The first unit I ordered had a defect, I thought maybe it was the product line, I tried a couple more expensive mixers and went back to this, the second one I ordered works perfect. Sweetwater helped me every step of the way!

Mackie DL32S

Well ill start with saying i started using the Dl1608 pretty much as soon as it was released in 2012 by Mackie and loved it after the learning curve of analog to digital. The DL32S has been incredible so far. Ive had it a little less than a year and have used it close to 100 times without issue . One thing that is crucial is Setting up your wifi well the first time and getting the system powered up and running first so everything is up and running. I use a TPlink router nothing crazy expensive. If you have any issues its more likely user error. Be patient and keep at it. Keep on Rocking !!

Great rackmount mixer!

I've only played one show with this mixer so far, but I already like it better than any other digital mixer I've had!! I've had a Behringer and a Soundcraft, and the Master Fader 5 app is the best of any of them!! I would recommend this mixer to anyone!! Thanks Mackie for designing this mixer !!
