I have been into live performance since my earliest memories of awkward piano recitals and church programs. That passion drove me all the way through graduate school, and has remained through 20 years as a professional keyboardist, live sound engineer, and Creative Arts Pastor. Gradually, my love of playing live began to lose out to my disdain of unreasonable schedules and moving constantly and I started looking for something to channel that energy into.
I discovered it in the worlds of teaching and music retail. At Sweetwater I have the opportunity to blend both and do so surrounded by the greatest team in the industry. So whether you are are a 70's cover band, church, major studio, or the guy/gal tracking your newest song in the spare bedroom, your needs are my greatest priority. I will work to find the best possible solutions and gear - backed by the best support - to help you realize your loftiest musical ambitions. And while we're at it, we'll have a lot of fun in the process.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

I did my graduate work at the University of Northern Colorado, and then quickly realized that it was a mere warm-up to the rigorous Sweetwater University. I have also completed Taylor Guitars University in El Cajon, CA and Peavey Electronics Certification in Meridian, MS.
I was the Creative Arts Pastor for several churches around the country, serving additional roles as the FOH mixing lead and lighting designer.
I was searching for a company that approached everything first and foremost from a place of integrity. Where "Take care of the customer" doesn't have qualifiers and the bottom line is not measured only in numbers.
Classical, gospel and rock pianist, 2 decades of live mixing and even longer as a teacher. With all that, I am confident that I can not only help you find the right gear for your needs, but help you understand the ever-present "why?" along the way.
I will always be identified with the piano with more than 20 years of professional experience. I am also more than comfortable on acoustic guitar, drums and low brass, and am always looking for the next instrument to lose myself in for awhile.
I have been married to my amazing wife Tami for 16 years, which frankly should qualify her for sainthood or superhero status given my life as a musician. We are the exhausted parents of a genius-level 10-year-old, and a 6-year-old indestructible fireball.
Movie popcorn drenched in that glow-in-the-dark "butter". Thankfully, I don't have much opportunity to go to movies.
Quarterback for the Denver Broncos, the second coming of John Elway. Mm-hm....
My background is incredibly varied, with near equal time spent on stage, behind the live mix console and in the studio. That versatility allows me to approach problems and solutions from every possible angle.
Excellent customer service, excellent product, excellent staff! I love that I can always reach a live person with questions. I always get individual treatment.

Absolutely amazed by the personal service on our order! It is obvious customer satisfaction is a priority. Your company would be the first place we would look for music related items. Great prices, great service and BTW, even the little touch of adding some candy made my kids very pleased! Thank you!
David from Renton, WA
I have to say it's the most personal order I've ever made from the pre-ship phone call, to the email, and finally the candy in the box. Thanks! I don't think I could beat the customer service even in a local shop
Chrystal from McMinnville, TN
From the customer service call after my order, to e-mailing me a copy of the invoice, to the great price, free shipping and candy in the box...a pleasure!
