Sweetwater Hires 9 New Employees
Fort Wayne, IN, March 19, 2013 - Sweetwater, the third-largest music instrument and pro-audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 9 new employees, bringing total employment to more than 520.

Sales Engineer Aric Brenner, from Wisconsin, graduated from IPR with an AAS degree in Media Arts. He has been a store manager for Victory Fireworks for the past nine years.

Sales Engineer Jeremy Clifford is from the Indianapolis area. He attended Purdue University and received a degree in audio engineering and was also a member of the Purdue Glee Club.

Sales Engineer Ed Nystrom is originally from the Chicago area. He is a guitarist and has been working for Samuel Music for the past 10 years, first as an assistant manager then as the store manager.

Sales Engineer Jake Wilson is from Woodburn, Indiana, and received a certificate in audio engineering from SAE in Nashville.

Sales Engineer Ian Angle is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, and has helped lead a youth worship team and played in various churches.

Sales Engineer Will Newbill is from Bunker Hill, Indiana, and attended Ball State University studying music technology. He had an internship at a post-production house in California and has also worked as a percussion instructor for Franklin Junior High.

IT Specialist Jason Johnson, a Fort Wayne native, spent five years in the Navy doing information technology work and has spent the past few years in the private sector doing contract work for the military. He is currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at Western Government University.

Interior Designer Sue Parrish is a Fort Wayne native with a degree in interior design from Purdue University. She worked for MSKTD and Associates for 20 years as a commercial interior designer and was part of the architectural team that designed Sweetwater's campus. She most recently worked for Keepsake Threads as creative director.

Receptionist Alicia Stahl has worked for Waterfield Mortgage.
