|Sweetwater Hires 11 Employees|
| Fort Wayne, IN, January 30, 2013 - Sweetwater, the third-largest music instrument and pro-audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 11 new employees, bringing total employment to more than 510.
Sales Engineer Sean Geyer, from Middlebury, Indiana, has an associate's degree in Audio Engineering from Full Sail recording school in Orlando. He has been the co-owner of Cassette Company Studios in Chicago for the past five years.
Sales Engineer Robert Koch is from Macomb, Michigan, and holds a bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Cinema Arts from Central Michigan University. While in college, Robert ran a student-based record label and interned at Paragon Studios in Chicago.
Sales Engineer Patrick McCann is from the Atlanta area but received his bachelor's degree in Music Technology from Montana State University.
Sales Engineer Jack Pepper is from Atlanta, where he attended the Music Business Institute.
Sales Engineer Ikes Taylor, from Lansing, Michigan, is a lifelong musician, playing both guitar and bass, and has extensive sales background in a variety of fields. Most recently he ran Lochabar Sound, providing live sound for a number of artists in the Lansing area.
Sales Engineer Ray Leach is from Davidson, North Carolina. He holds a bachelor's degree in Professional Writing from UNC/Charlotte, and previously worked in the health care industry in several managerial roles.
Sales Engineer Tim Holsinger is from Hillsboro, Ohio, and attended The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe. He has been a national recording artist for Metal Blade Records and a product endorser for Jackson Guitars.
Sales Assistant Evan Williams is from North Manchester, Indiana, and a recent graduate of Huntington University with a degree in broadcasting.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Missy Lyons is the newest member of Sweetwater's Human Resources team. Most recently she was the Store Manager at Glenbrook's Build-A-Bear. Prior to that, she managed The Body Shop at Glenbrook and was an assistant manager at Arby's.
Administrative Assistant for the Academy of Music Robin Donaldson is from the Terre Haute area and moved to Fort Wayne a few years ago.
Guitar Technician Joe Albright is a Fort Wayne native with years of experience as a luthier and guitar technician.
