|Sweetwater Hires Thirteen New Employees in March|
| - Music Technology Retailer Continues to Expand Sales Force -
Sweetwater, the fourth-largest music instrument and pro audio retailer in the world, according to Music Trades magazine, has hired four new full-time employees, plus nine additional part-time employees, since the beginning of March. The new hires bring total employment at Sweetwater to 333, up from 317 since the beginning of the year.
Sales Engineer Joe Hebert is a native of Hebron, Indiana, and a graduate of Ball State University, where he holds a Bachelors in Music Engineering Technology and a Masters in Music Composition.
Sales Engineer David Melsheimer also holds a BA in Music Engineering Technology from Ball State. He worked as an audio technician for Ball State's Distance Learning program. He is from Beech Grove, Indiana.
Sales Engineer Josh Wellington is from Homewood, Illinois, and has a BA in Audio Production and Design from Columbia College in Chicago.
Sales Engineer Chris Kramer hails from Seattle, Washington, holds a BA in Music Technology from Seattle Pacific University, and is a classically trained jazz pianist.
Two new employees have join Sweetwater's restaurant staff, along with two part-time receptionists, and five part-time shipping specialists.
Sweetwater Founder and President Chuck Surack remarked, "Sweetwater is committed to expanding its sales force at an ambitious pace. We're just beginning to discover the many ways in which our new facility is helping us with recruitment on a national basis."
