|Sweetwater Continues To Expand Staff|
| - Leading music technology retailer still recruiting qualified personnel, adds seventeen new staff -
Fort Wayne, IN, February 15, 2006 - Sweetwater, the Fort Wayne-based leader in audio and musical instrument retail, has added seventeen new members to its sales and support staff.
Sales Engineer Mike Lenihan is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. His education includes a degree in psychology, certification from the Recording Workshop in Ohio, and music business studies at Middle Tennessee State University. He comes to Sweetwater from Lexington, Kentucky where he served as an A/V specialist.
Sales Engineer Patrick "Paddy" Steading is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he received a BS in Audio Engineering. He sold professional audio equipment for local stores, and worked for MTSU in production services as a crew supervisor and live sound engineer.
Local Sales Floor Sales Engineer Adam Crampton is a graduate of Full Sail where he earned an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts. Before coming to Sweetwater, he served as an intern and assistant engineer for Phat Planet Studios in Orlando, Florida.
New to Sweetwater's Marketing Department is Copywriter Jon Schafer. His educational background includes studies in English and Music Business Technology, as well as audio engineering studies at the Recording Institute of Detroit. He comes to Fort Wayne from Cygnet, Ohio.
Thomas Castonzo joins Sweetwater's Internet Development Team as Web Programmer. Coming to Sweetwater from Chicago, he has a varied background including Jazz studies at the Berklee College of Music, as well as computer science studies at Benedictine University.
Fort Wayne native Annette Koenig returns to Sweetwater as Executive Assistant after nine years working as an Executive Assistant in the insurance field. Koenig previously served as Executive Assistant at Sweetwater during the mid-1990s.
Cassidy Finkenbiner joins Sweetwater's business office as Risk Management Analyst. She is originally from Defiance, Ohio.
Ten Shipping Specialists came onboard at Sweetwater to help the company keep pace with rapidly increasing shipping demands: Joshua Kendrick, Ernest Lebo, Rick Pirri, Tim Sewell, Zach Smith, Austin Hans, Brad Mannix, Jon Keller, Jerry Agler, and Gerald Rice.
"Our ongoing campaign to recruit qualified sales and support people will continue indefinitely," said Sweetwater founder and President Chuck Surack. "Sweetwater is growing at an unprecedented rate.
