|Sweetwater Joins Elite Family of Gibson Online Retailers|
| Sweetwater announced today that its website has been named a preferred online dealership by Gibson Guitar. Sweetwater.com will carry the Gibson family of brands to include Gibson electric and acoustic guitars, Epiphone, Valley Arts and Tobias bass guitars, Gibson and Epiphone amplifiers, and Gibson accessories. The retailer has Gibson guitars in stock and on display at its online Guitar Gallery, which can be viewed at www.sweetwater.com.
Sweetwater founder and President Chuck Surack pointed out that the dealer is especially well-suited to handle the Gibson Guitar brands. “Our Sales Engineers, most of whom are guitarists themselves, are very tuned in to guitar player’ needs,” he commented. Surack added that Sweetwater’s wide variety of amplifiers and effects means, “We can put together a rig that will fit any guitarist’s playing style and musical genre.”
Sweetwater’s Guitar Gallery allows online shoppers to view photos of actual in-stock instruments. The website offers close-up body photos and full front and back views, plus detail shots of special wood grains and other unique features. Buyers can inspect in-depth the exact guitar they’re considering. “We’ve removed the uncertainty of buying a guitar from an online retailer,” said Surack. “Shoppers can pick the actual guitar we ship to them. If they prefer one specific guitar’s flame pattern, for example, they can choose that very instrument.” The website is located at www.sweetwater.com/guitargallery.
All guitars purchased from Sweetwater are factory-fresh, immune from the wear and tear of retail store displays, where they may have been handled by hundreds of curious shoppers. Each guitar also undergoes a 55-point setup and quality-control inspection before it is shipped to its buyer.
Gibson is known worldwide for producing classic models in every major style of fretted instrument including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolins and banjos. Gibson Guitar’s family of brands includes Epiphone, Dobro, Kramer, Steinberger, Tobias, Slingerland, Valley Arts, Maestro, Baldwin, Hamilton, and Wurlitzer.
