Sweetwater and Blue Jacket, Inc. Partner for Seasonal Job Fair in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Indiana. [Tuesday, September 22, 2026] – In preparation for an increase in holiday demand, Sweetwater is partnering with Blue Jacket, Inc. for a seasonal job fair in Fort Wayne. The event will be held at Blue Jacket’s headquarters, located at 2826 South Calhoun in Fort Wayne.

The goal for the job fair is to fill over 100 seasonal positions at Sweetwater, the nation’s largest online retailer for music instruments and audio gear. The hiring event will take place from 9AM to 12PM and from 1PM to 6PM on Wednesday, September 30. Candidates attending the event will have the opportunity to participate in open interviews and complete pre-employment requirements on the spot.

“There's nothing like the energy at Sweetwater during the holidays, and we can't wait to meet people who want to be part of that,” said Megan Deal, senior director of human resources – distribution center operations at Sweetwater. “We're looking for hardworking individuals who are ready to take on a new challenge and grow with our team.”

Seasonal worker pay starts at $16 per hour and can go as high as $18.50 per hour, depending on the shift and position. This year, Sweetwater will also pay a peak bonus of an additional $1 per hour during the eight busiest weeks of the season, bringing the base rate up to $17 during that period. Sweetwater is hiring for all shifts at this event: first shift (6AM-2:30PM), second shift (3PM-11:30PM), and third shift (9:30PM-7:30AM). A weekend-only option is also available part-time (7AM-7:30PM Saturday and Sunday) and full-time (7AM-7:30PM Saturday and Sunday and one additional day during the week). A background check is required for all applicants prior to employment.
