Annual Heavy Metal Awards Show Coming to Sweetwater

FORT WAYNE, Indiana. [Monday, December 1, 2025] – The annual Nocturnal Awards, a worldwide heavy metal awards show hosted by music YouTuber and producer Nik Nocturnal, will take place on Friday, December 12, on the Sweetwater campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Nocturnal Awards is the biggest community-driven annual metal music awards show, celebrating the best in modern metal, metalcore, deathcore, and alternative heavy music. 

The Nocturnal Awards, presented by Sweetwater and JBL, will be livestreamed on YouTube and on Twitch. The show will feature music gear giveaways and will include exclusive metal music premieres from special guests. For the first time ever, fans can attend the Nocturnal Awards live at Sweetwater. Tickets and additional information are available here for the December 12 event, which starts at 5PM EST. 

Heavy metal enthusiasts will enjoy an immersive, live experience and be part of this annual celebration of the genre. Fans that tune in or come to the event in person will also be treated to a surprise live performance from a band that will be announced closer to the event.
