Sweetwater to Host Hiring Event to Help Fill 100+ Seasonal Distribution Center Positions

Sweetwater is hiring more than 100 employees to fill seasonal shipping specialist positions in its 580,000 square foot climate-controlled distribution center located at 5501 U. S. Highway 30 West in Fort Wayne.

To fill the new positions, a job fair and hiring event will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 at Sweetwater's distribution center in Fort Wayne. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in open interviews, tour the facility, and complete preemployment requirements.

Sweetwater offers competitive pay, Daily Pay options, and gear discounts after 60 days, as well as on-site amenities including a diner, access to Sweetwater's free medical clinic with a full-time doctor & nurse, a fitness center & personal trainer, salon & spa, and more. A comprehensive wellness program includes resources that help improve employees' mental, physical, social, professional, and financial health.

Starting pay is $15.50-$16 per hour, which includes a $1 per hour time & attendance bonus. Available shifts include second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) and third shift (9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) Monday through Friday as well as weekend shift part time (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) Saturday & Sunday and weekend shift full time (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday & Sunday plus one day during the week.)
