Sweetwater Welcomes 18 New Sales Engineers

 
Sweetwater is pleased to announce the hiring of 18 new sales engineers.

Barny Lanman was born in England and moved to Massachusetts in 2010. Prior to relocating to Fort Wayne, he worked at Concord Market as a social media manager and as a lead engineer at Zen Den Studios.

Charles Dent is moving from Panama City, Florida. He has a bachelor's degree in digital media production from Gulf Coast State College. For the past three years, he worked as a store manager for Pepper Palace.

Corey May is relocating from Akron, Ohio, with over 15 years of experience as a performing artist. Most recently, he worked as a freelance live sound engineer at Massillon. He graduated from Full Sail University with a bachelor's degree in audio production.

Evan Hall is originally from Merced, California. After graduating from the Musician's Institute School of Audio Engineering with a technical certificate in audio engineering, he worked as a church production director for six years.

Ian Awoyade is from Portage, Michigan. He is currently studying audio and media production at Western Michigan University. Before joining Sweetwater, he was a store manager at Zumiez for the past three years.

Jared is from Buffalo, New York. He has a bachelor's degree in recording arts from Full Sail University and has spent time working in multiple recording studios in Orlando, Florida as a recording engineer.

Jeff Steinhauser relocated from the Detroit area, where he was working on a recording project. He has been actively involved with composing music, recording, and playing in bands for over two decades. In 1999, he founded and owned a 500-person capacity concert venue in Brooklyn, New York, that he sold to AEG Live in 2017.

Josh Hovis, native to Fort Wayne, graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in music composition. He composes for video games such as Blue Oak Bridge. A couple years ago, he spent a summer working in Sweetwater's distribution center.

Juan Pesina relocated from Cape Coral, Florida. He graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with a certificate in audio technology. He was the audio and video editor as well as the worship leader of his local church.

Julio Cotto-Ruíz, born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, graduated from Columbia Central University in Caguas, Puerto Rico, with an associate degree in audio engineering. He has been working as a freelance audio engineer and started a music label.

Kyle Buchanan relocated to Fort Wayne from Saint Louis, Missouri. He has a degree in electronic arts from Missouri State University. He has been a rap engineer and producer for 20 years, as well as held different roles such as an assistant manager at Guitar Center, and a helpdesk analyst at KPMG.

Manuel Robles is from Valencia, Venezuela. He came to the U.S. as an international student and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in music theory and composition. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he worked as a project coordinator at Alta Systems.

Michael Ramey is relocating to Fort Wayne from Bogota, Columbia where he did freelance audio engineer work and worked as a bi-lingual administrative coordinator for the past three years. He has a degree in psychology from Ohio State University.

Noah Landress is relocating from Johnson City, Tennessee, where he worked in the food industry. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing as well as a master's degree in business administration from Florida State University.

Payton Vieth, a Fort Wayne native, has a degree in marketing from Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne University. Prior to his role at Sweetwater, Payton was a consumer client service manager at First Merchants Bank.

Rashi Brown is moving to Fort Wayne from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in multimedia arts technology and a minor in English. He has worked as a freelance audio engineer.

Uriah Guanue is a self-taught producer from Newark, New Jersey, but is relocating to Fort Wayne from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2016, he has worked as an independent freelance producer for local artists.

Will Schoenberger is originally from Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in music industry and recording technologies. After graduation in 2021, he worked as a private music instructor of guitar, piano, bass, and ukulele.
