Sweetwater to Host Job Fair to Help Fill Seasonal and Year-Round Fulfillment Center Positions

Sweetwater is hiring approximately 100 employees to fill new shipping specialist positions in its 580,000 square foot climate-controlled fulfillment center located at 5501 U. S. Highway 30 West in Fort Wayne.

To fill the new positions, a job fair and hiring event will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9 at the The Impact Center at 3420 E. Paulding Avenue in Fort Wayne.

Based on the shift, starting pay is $15-$16 per hour, which includes a $1 per hour attendance bonus. Through December, there is an additional $1 per hour added to the attendance incentive. Seasonal positions include first shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday as well as third shift (9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) Sunday through Thursday. Seasonal weekend shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) on Saturday and Sunday are also available. Year-round, permanent positions are available for the weekend shifts (both full-time and part-time) and second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
