Sweetwater Welcomes 24 New Sales Engineers

 
Sweetwater is pleased to announce the hiring of 24 new sales engineers.

Alex Gleason joined Sweetwater in 2021 as a Music Store sales engineer and was recently promoted to a sales engineer.

Benjamin Muniz III is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he spent four years in music retail management in the Boston area and eight years in Chicago teaching music production and performing/touring the country as a B-boy and lyricist for numerous music projects, including performing and writing for theatre.

Brady Langefels joins Sweetwater from Tampa, Florida. He was recently an admissions coordinator for a drug and alcohol treatment facility as well as the owner of the Quick Tracks Studio.

Brandon Gay is from Raleigh, North Carolina. He recently served as the sales manager for Circle G Remodeling and Repairs and has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Brian Massey worked as a band director in Michigan for 7 years and relocated to Fort Wayne in 2019 to work as a full-time worship ministry. He holds a double bachelor's degree in instrumental music education and vocal music education from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in music education from Michigan State University.

Devin Sonnier is originally from southern Louisiana. He graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor's in music media. Devin has worked as a head technician, guitar teacher, and audio freelancer before joining Sweetwater.

Drew Hunter is originally from West Windsor, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Hartford with a bachelor's degree in audio engineering technology and has worked over 15 years as a construction support specialist.

Dustin Hensley, a Fort Wayne native, was recently promoted to sales engineer after spending a year as an account coordinator. Dustin has previously worked in life insurance and account management to data analytics. He also spent more than 10 years as a music director in a non-denominational church.

Eric Rojas is originally from Texas, where he received a degree in music education from the University of North Texas with a focus on clarinet and saxophone. After working for many years as a middle school band director, Eric relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he worked as a worship and music director at a large church playing guitar.

Ivan Corpening is relocating from New York City. After serving in the military, he graduated from Full Sail University in 2011 with a BA in recording arts, then later with a degree in digital online marketing.

James Manzanares is from Idaho Falls where he owns two music venues and a music studio. Previously, James has worked as a member service specialist and a worship leader.

Jason Mathis is a Central California native. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in music theory and most recently worked as a sales manager for a biotech marketing firm.

Jason Sain is a West Texas native who spent almost 20 years performing in Branson, Missouri. He has undergraduate degrees in guitar performance, vocal performance, and songwriting from South Plains College.

John Tique is from Colorado by way of California, and formerly was an educator and worked in music retail. He has a dual BA in guitar and songwriting and a master's degree in songwriting in progress form Berklee College of Music.

John Beasley is originally from Augusta, Georgia but is relocating to Fort Wayne from Largo, Florida where he has spent the past four years. Over the last 10 years, John has been a worship leader, a music director, a production director, and a technology director.

Matt Lubick is joining us from Vancouver, Washington, but is originally from north of Los Angeles. He two degrees in audio production from Antelope Valley College and Full Sail University, and he has spent the last few years working as a live audio engineer.

Mike Montero, from Miami, Florida, has been a mentor and an independent tutor for the last 20 years and has worked with organizations such as Guitars Over Guns and School of Rock.

Mike Bell recently joined us from Atlantic City, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Full Sail University with a bachelor's degree in audio production.

Nicole Long is a Texas native and joins Sweetwater as a sales manager. She comes to us with extensive industry leadership experience, most recently serving since 2014 as the retail district manager in Washington State and California, where she was responsible for 23 Music & Arts locations.

Patrick Cavanaugh is a graduate of Frederick Community College with degrees in arts & humanities, audio production, and general studies. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he gained experience in touring, music education, and artist development.

Ryan Miller is an East Tennessee native. Most recently, he worked as the lead of the local Boys & Girls Club performing arts program, helping local children become interested in and find passion in music. He has degrees in general studies and music from the Walters State Community College.

Ryan Watson is from Toledo, Ohio, where he studied music theory at the University of Toledo. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he performed all over the region as a gigging musician and solo performer.

Ryne Thoma is relocating from Ventura, California. He graduated from California Lutheran University where he studied communications and audio production. Recently, he worked as a quality assurance specialist, where he would oversee quality inspections throughout the production process for all Guild USA products.

Steve Wessing is from Appleton, Wisconsin and was formerly an in-house staff engineer for Interscope Records. He has graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.
