Sweetwater Welcomes 17 New Salaried Employees

Sweetwater is pleased to announce the hiring of 17 new salaried employees.

Paul Smith – Vice President of Transportation. Paul relocated to Fort Wayne four years ago from Warren, Rhode Island. He is an experienced ops and supply chain leader with his most recent experience being from Hoffmaster Group Inc. as a director of global supply chain.

Alayna Carlin – Web QA Engineer. Alayna is joining Sweetwater from Garret, Indiana after graduating from Eleven Fifty Academy.

Dan Da Cunha – Senior Web Software Engineer. Dan is joining us from Baltimore, Maryland. He is a web developer with nearly two decades of experience in industries ranging from medical staffing to advertising to gaming. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he worked at Mattress by Appointment as a lead developer.

Cameron Lengerich – Senior Web Software Engineer. Cameron joins us after working at Aptera/Core BTS for the last five years. He graduated from IPFW with a degree in computer science.

Matthew Mcdonough – Senior Web Software Engineer. Matthew, originally from Goshen Indiana, worked as a lead web developer at Viewrail before joining Sweetwater.

Nicole Jewell - Executive Assistant, Marketing. Nicole has a degree in business management from Ivy Tech Community College and spent the last 22 years working for Aetna as a manager and an executive assistant.

Anooj Thakker - Campaign Manager, Marketing. Anooj relocated to Fort Wayne from Flower Mound, Texas where he worked at Niagara Conservation as a marketing campaign manager. He has a music teacher education from the University of North Texas.

Susanne Snyder – Senior Merchandising Demand Planner. Susanne is originally from South Bend and spent her career working in a variety of merchandising and planning roles, from Target to most recently Vera Bradley. She graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with degrees in business focusing on marketing, entrepreneurship, and apparel merchandising.

Jessica Mason – Replenishment Associate. Jessica joins us from Maryville, Tennessee, where she worked as a research analyst for Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance. She has a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in political science from lee University and a master's degree in international and comparative legal studies from the University of London.

Randall Smith – Client Systems Technician Lead. Randall is originally from upstate New York. He spent the last seven years working with BlueStorm Technologies. Prior to that, he spent 20 years working for Cornell University working on data center infrastructure.

Andy Rossi - VP of Gear Exchange. Andy is a New York native and joins us from Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to joining Sweetwater, he held leadership roles at Fender, Korg, and eBay.

Lucas Cryer - Mac Tech Support Specialist I. Lucas grew up in Fort Wayne and is now relocating back from Marion, Indiana, where he worked as a FOH Engineer at Hanfield UMC. He has a bachelor's degree in music production from Full Sail University.

Kyle Strype – Marketing Data Specialist. Kyle recently relocated to Fort Wayne from Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in merchandising and product development and followed that up with his master's degree in the same subject in 2014.

Michael Riefsnyder – Band & Orchestra Relationship Manager. Michael studied at the University of South Carolina and majored in political science. He opened his own music retail store at 21 years old and has been in the industry for 26 years.

Robin Whitesel – Client Systems Deployment Technician. Robin is originally from Muncie and recently moved to Fort Wayne after graduating from Ball State with a master's degree in information and communication sciences and a bachelor's degree in computer technology.

Brandon Garn – Digital Designer. Brandon graduated in 2019 from Indiana University Fort Wayne, obtaining a BFA with a concentration in graphic design. In the past, he has three years of experience working at Sweetwater from the distribution center and the marketing department as a marketing intern and mixed media artist.

Sophia Jones - Accounts Payable Specialist. Sophia is a recent graduate of Ivy Tech with an associate degree in accounting. She spent five years working at Marshalls and was also a part time pharmacy technician at Walgreens.
