Sweetwater Welcomes 26 New Sales Engineers |
| Sweetwater is pleased to announce the hiring of 26 new sales engineers. Roger Arroyo is from Orange County, California. He has previous experience in Lake Forest, California, managing the Guitar Center lessons department. He has a graduate degree from the University of California, Irvine. Connie Diaz is a Florida native and graduate from SAE with a degree in audio engineering. Prior to joining Sweetwater, she has worked on live sound, sound system design, and studio recording. Michael Bryant is a northeast Indiana native who spent the last several years doing maintenance and residential work as well as industrial maintenance at Kraft Heinz. Henry Durlin is originally from Tucson, Arizona. He has two bachelor's degrees in music production and recording arts from Full Sail University. Most recently, he has worked as freelance engineer and studio drummer. Thomas McLaughlin was raised in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Miami University with degrees in psychology and music composition. Previously, Thomas worked as a freelance audio technician and producer. Michael Johnstone joins us from Riverview, Michigan after graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance. He's spent the last several years working in sales and was an instructor at Guitar Center. Bryan Encalada is from Brooklyn, New York but has lived most of his life between Miami, Florida and Guayaquil, Ecuador. He worked as an audio engineer at Bay Eight Studios in Miami and has a music business degree from Lindenwood University St. Charles, Missouri. Franko Torres joins us from Puerto Rico, where he worked as a guitar teacher and side guitarist for acts of many different genres. He graduated from the Metropolitan Inter-American University of Puerto Rico with a degree in jazz and contemporary music performance with a minor in music business and he is currently pursuing a master's degree in marketing. Troy Davis joins us from Dayton, Ohio after graduating from Ohio University's music production program where he also worked as a production leader of OU's premier student-run record label, Brick City Records. Tylor McDonald grew up in Redford, Michigan. He has a master recording program diploma from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Recently, he finished up a seven-year career as a project staff instructor at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Rogan McGarvey is relocating from Monmouth County, New Jersey where he grew up and received his BA from Monmouth University in music with a concentration in music industry. He has worked in music retail prior to joining Sweetwater. Jake Davis is from Lowell, North Carolina. He graduated from Gaston College. He has spent the last several years working as a Guitar Technician and Audio Engineer for Sonic Void Recording Studio. Logan Kinsey is originally from Dover, Ohio. Logan graduated with bachelor's degree in audio engineering technology with a minor in music business from Belmont University. Before joining the Sweetwater team, he worked as a freelance engineer specializing in recording and mixing. Skyler Giordano comes from south central Pennsylvania, where he previously worked in the communication field as a digital press operator, as well as a freelance graphic designer and performing musician. Blake Wedding is joining us from Louisville, Kentucky where he worked as a marketing contractor and consultant for OtherNick Social Media Marketing. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in communication. Dr. Lexie Signor is a Michigan native. Previously in her career, she has worked as a full-time freelance performer and professor of trumpet, jazz, and music education at Indiana State University. James Walsh is relocating to Fort Wayne from Weymouth, Massachusetts where he worked as a freelance recording and mix engineer. He graduated from Full Sail University with a certificate in audio arts. Fred Camin is a native of Long Island, New York and a graduate of Berklee College of Music and Long Island University. He has been in music sales and distribution for 20 years. Gregg Block is originally from Denver, Colorado. Previously, he was a private guitar instructor and has over 20 years of playing experience as well as 15 years of live band and recording experience. Jonathan Pass is from Portland, Oregon. Before coming to Sweetwater, he worked in research and development at a safety signage and supply company. He has a degree in music from Clackamas Community College. Lucino Cioppa is a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music with a bachelor's degree in music production. He is originally from New York but grew up in Ohio. He has spent the last several years working for his family's DJ and entertainment company. Victor Gomez, originally from Angola, is transitioning to a new role after working in the Sweetwater Music Store for over a year. He holds a degree from Manchester University in Environmental Science. Jason Duncan is transitioning to a new role after nearly two years of working in the Sweetwater Guitar Gallery. He attended Pennsylvania State University. Damian Hyde is a native of Indianapolis who moved to Fort Wayne two years ago to start at Sweetwater. After nearly two years of working in the music store, Damian is now moving into the sales engineer position. Colton Conrad is an Indiana native transitioning to a new role after working at the Sweetwater Music Store as he pursued education full-time at Purdue Fort Wayne, earning a degree in music industry and a minor in business. Upon graduation, Colton worked two more years in the store before being promoted to professional sales. Scott Newman lives in Angola, Indiana, where he worked as a music teacher prior to joining Sweetwater. He has a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education and a master's degree in educational leadership. |
