Sweetwater Hires 11 New Employees

Sweetwater is pleased to announce the recent hiring of 11 employees.

John Horton – Distribution Center Production Manager. John is a Concordia Lutheran graduate who earned his B.S. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from Butler University. He has previously worked for Steel Dynamics, ITS Technologies & Logistics, and Shindigz.
Adrian Williams – Graphic Designer. Adrian is a Fort Wayne native who joins our Marketing Department as a Graphic Designer. Adrian has over 15 years of experience in graphic design at Franklin Electric and Fort Wayne Ink Spot Newspaper.
David Streicher – Senior Risk Analyst. David has joined the Sweetwater team as a Senior Risk Analyst. He holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in Informatics and Psychology as well as a master's degree in Higher Education.
Gloria Williams – Production Artist. Sweetwater welcomes Gloria to the Print Marketing team as a Production Artist. Gloria is from Fort Wayne and attended Purdue Fort Wayne for Visual Arts and Design. Gloria brings with her nearly 20 years of experience as a graphic designer.
Karis Badertscher – HR Recruiting Coordinator. Karis has joined Sweetwater's Human Resources team as a Recruiting Coordinator. Prior to joining Sweetwater, Karis worked in various roles for recruiting companies, including leading global recruiting coordinator teams. Karis is a graduate of Bluffton University with a degree in Music Business.

Kenny Gales – DC Weekend Production Manager. Sweetwater welcomes Kenny as the Weekend Pick Module Manager for the Distribution Center. He comes to us with significant distribution experience, most recently as area manager for Walmart Distribution Center and Family Dollar. Kenny earned his degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
Jeff Harrison – Director of Fulfillment. Sweetwater welcomes Jeff as the new Second Shift Director for the Distribution Center. He comes to us from Walmart where he was a Fulfillment Operations Manager responsible for various departments during his time there. He holds an MBA from Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne and brings over 12 years of leadership experience in distribution and logistics.

Cristina White – Staff Accountant. Sweetwater welcomes Cristina to the Sweet Family Accounting team. Cristina previously worked as an accountant at Summit Automotive Partners in Colorado and as an accounting assistant at the University of Wyoming, where she also earned her B.S. in Accounting.

Nick Thomas – Tax Accountant. Nick is originally from Angola and received his MBA from Trine University. He has spent the last several years as a tax associate with BKD, LLP.

Danielle Doepke – Graphic Designer. Danielle is a Fort Wayne native and has worked as a Marketing & Creative Asset Coordinator for Encore Sotheby's and a Visual Content Producer for Reecer Properties and Purdue Fort Wayne.

Brian Heintz – HR Business Partner. Brian joins Sweetwater as our HR Business Partner for our Distribution Center. Brian is originally from Michigan and received his master's degree from Michigan State University. He has worked as an HR Manager for Pepsi Beverage Company and Regal Beloit.
