Sweetwater Names New Director of Guitar Gallery Operations

Sweetwater is pleased to announce that current Sales Manager Frank Navarro has been named the new Director of Guitar Gallery Operations.

Navarro has spent more than two decades in various positions in the retail music industry and has worked at Sweetwater since 2015. He will oversee Sweetwater's one-of-a-kind Guitar Gallery, which offers guitar buyers an exceptional purchasing experience from start to finish.

"I'm excited to take all the great work we do in Guitar Gallery and continue to help refine and improve it for our customers, our employees, and our vendor partners. As a life-long guitar player, I understand the emotion that goes into buying your next instrument and I want to make it the best experience for everyone," said Navarro.

Next month, Guitar Gallery is moving into an expanded space inside Sweetwater's new 480,000 square foot warehouse. The climate-controlled facility will be home to the team of highly-trained technicians and luthiers who conduct a detailed 55-point inspection on every single guitar priced at $299 or more. Included in the inspection process are a detailed check of each instrument for playability, cosmetics, packaging, along with recording the weight and taking professional photos of each instrument by serial number. Well over 110,000 guitars were processed in the Guitar Gallery last year.
