Sweetwater Welcomes 16 New Employees

Sweetwater is pleased to announce the recent hiring of 15 new employees.

Shayne Robbs – Sales Engineer. Shayne comes to Sweetwater from Palmdale, California. He has a manufacturing, research and development background with over 28 years of leadership experience. He is a guitarist and played in an 80's hair band, which recorded two albums and played hundreds of shows.

Stephen Wilhoit – Sales Engineer. Stephen comes to Sweetwater from Black River, New York. He has a military background with over 21 years of organizational leadership and combat operations experience. He is a composer and plays virtual reality games as a hobby.

Calvin Hull – Sales Engineer. Calvin is originally from Oklahoma City. He holds an Associates of Applied Technology in Contemporary Music Production from the University of Central Oklahoma. He worked as the Stage and Lighting Director for the Yale Theater.

Aaron Kinney – Sales Engineer. Aaron is from St Louis, Missouri and has a food and beverage background with over 15 years of experience. He is a bassist and played in a TOOL tribute band for 5 years.

Carter Drain – Sales Engineer. Carter comes to Sweetwater from Springdale, Arkansas. He has a music retail background with over 7 years of experience repairing and selling musical instruments both independently and professionally in a music retail shop.

Elliot Levy – Sales Engineer. Elliot comes to Sweetwater from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Elliot received his degree in Audio Production from Middle Tennessee State University and received his degree in Audio Production. Before college, Elliot served five years in the United States Marine Corps. Elliot has spent the majority of his life playing drums.

Paul LaFemina – Sales Engineer. Paul comes to Sweetwater from Portland, Oregon. He has a BS in biology, an MS in environmental science, and an MD degree. He was an anesthesiologist before working with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. He has played guitar in well-known bands and done studio work.

Blake Rice – Sales Engineer. Blake comes to Sweetwater from Valparaiso. He has attended Berklee College of Music and recently completed a BS in Business & Finance from Purdue University.

Ben Kelly – Sales Engineer. Ben has recently been promoted to the role of Sales Engineer. Ben has spent the last 8 years in our Distribution Center as part of our Inventory Control team.

Lucas Norton – Sale Engineer. Lucas has been promoted to the role of Sales Engineer. Prior to his promotion, Lucas worked as a product tester in our Service department. He has a degree in Music Technology from the University of St. Francis.

Brad Moody – Sales Engineer. Brad has recently relocated from Ludington, Michigan. He has a degree from Westshore Community College and has spent the last several years working for Instrumental Music and Sound.

Alex Mattingly – Sales Engineer. Alex has recently been promoted to Sales Engineer. Prior to his promotion Alex worked as a sales apprentice. He relocated to Fort Wayne from Leonardtown, Maryland.

Ben Nielson – Sales Engineer. Ben has recently received a promotion to Sales Engineer. He began his career last year with Sweetwater as a sales apprentice.

Zach Terhune – Sales Engineer. Zach has been promoted to the role of Sales Engineer. He started working with Sweetwater 18 months ago in our Guitar Gallery as a Guitar Technician. He plays guitars and keyboards for the band The Be Colony, and they have recently recorded their first album in his home studio.

Ethan Kattau – Sales Engineer. Ethan is a Fort Wayne area native who has spent the last several years working as an Audio Engineer for 2E's Winery, a stagehand for the Clyde Theater and a Private Music Instructor/Sales Associate for Copper Chord Music in Huntington.

Brooke Kennison – Software QA Analyst. Brooke has recently relocated from Franklin, Tennessee where she studied in a Software Engineering Immersive Program with General Assembly.
