Sweetwater Hires 21 New Employees

Sweetwater is pleased to announce the recent hiring of 21 new employees.

Sales Engineer Austin Zachrich - Zachrich is from Defiance, OH and has been attending Trine University in Angola for Informatics and Software Engineering. He was the Stagehand and Audio Technician for Rider Productions here in Fort Wayne, plus the AV Specialist at Trine. He also does some freelance DJing.

Sales Engineer Brenton Evans – Evans is from Cedar Springs, Michigan and recently graduated from Ferris State with a B.S. in Business Administation. He has been a member of the Music Industry Management Association at his school for 3 years.

Sales Apprentice Alex Mattingly - Mattingly is from Leonardtown, Maryland and went to school for TV/Video Production. For the last 4 years, he has been the Manager for Wood's Paint Center in sales and customer service.

Sales Apprentice Benjamin Nielson - Nielson is originally from Valparaiso, IN and recently achieved his degree in Audio Recording from Vincennes University. While in school, he held a variety of Cusomer Service roles in the food industry.

Sales Engineer Michael Bradac - Bradac studied at Kent State University for Integrated Science and recently earned his degree. During school he was the Student Library Aide at Kent State before becoming the Circulation Supervisor.

Sales Engineer Cody Hill - Hill comes to us from Englewood, Colorado and has his diploma from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix. He spent 3 years as the Customer Service Manager at Guitar Center before he became the Front of House Manager for the Great Northern Tavern and more recently, the QC Tech for Clearwing Productions in Denver.

Sales Engineer Rex Ellsworth – Ellsworth is from Elkhart, IN and has his Education degree from Goshen College. He was teaching at the High School and College level before transitioning careers to IT and Web Design. Most recently he has been the Digital Marketing Specialist at Beacon Health System.

Sales Engineer Ben Elder - Elder is originally from Leo, IN, but currently resides in Edgerton, OH. He has several certificates from Berklee College of Music including Music Production. He was the Worship Director and Arts Dept Director at LCRF Church, but most recently Ben has been working in construction with MHE.

Sales Engineer Deanna Hooper - Hooper is originally from Maryland where she achieved her Mass Communications degree from Towson State University. She was an Account Executive at a Baltimore Radio Station before joining the team at Guitar Center in 2002. Most recently, she has been the Store Manager of the Tempe, AZ location.

Sales Engineer Jonathan Wolverton - Wolverton is from Franklin, Tennessee and recently completed the Audio Engineering Program at Dark Horse Institute. He had a summer job at a talent agency making outbound phone calls to prospective clients to book auditions.

Sales Engineer Grant Vitek - Vitek is from Peru, Indiana and recently graduated from Ball State University with a Telecommunications degree with a Digital Audio Production concentration. He was the Videographer and Asst. Audio Engineer at Beneficence Records at Ball State.

Sales Engineer Keaton Vegades - Vegades recently achieved his Audio Production degree with a minor in Marketing from Ohio University in Athens, OH. He had his internship at Glenwood Place Studios and recently released his solo album.

Sales Engineer Cole Madley - Madley is originally from Terre Haute and recently graduated from IU Bloomington for Arts Management. He has been the Event Coordinator for MXMW Productions and an intern for Soundbyte Management in New York.

Sales Engineer Cameron Ferguson - Ferguson has recently graduated from Capital University with a degree in Music Technology. He was an intern at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and a drum teacher with Thumbtack.

Sales Engineer Aaron Vidusek - Vidusek grew up in Illinois and interned at Electrical Audio in Chicago before attending the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Arizona. He was been the Audio Technician for Carnival Cruise Lines and most recently, a Low Voltage Technician for Digital Living.

Sales Engineer Nick Farmer - Farmer grew up in Cincinnati, OH and has been working for Guitar Center as a Store Manager for over 7 years. Most recently, he was managing the Dayton, OH location.

Sales Engineer Brian Sheehan – Sheehan joins us from West Chester, OH where he has been the Store Manager of the Cincinnati Guitar Center for the last 5 years. He has been a professional, touring guitarist and singer since 1993.

Copywriter Thom Koester – Koester has joined the Sweetwater Marketing team as a Copywriter. He graduated from Xavier University with an English Literature degree in 2018. Thom brings with him writing and editing experience from the Xavier Newswire.

Web Software Engineer Dylan Baine – Baine is from Norman, OK and 100% self-taught in programming.

Web Engineering Manager Joshua Stir – Stir is a Fort Wayne native who attended Purdue Fort Wayne and has received a BA in Computer Science and a Masters in Business. He was formerly the Manager of Software Development at Our Sunday Visitor.

Brand Strategist Casey O'Dowd – O'Dowd is from Rochester Hills, MI. He attended Ferris State University. He worked as a digital marking intern for an automotive company in Detroit while attending college.
