Sweetwater Hires 22 New Employees

Fort Wayne, IN, December 15, 2017 — Sweetwater recently hired 22 new employees, including 12 Sales Engineers. Thirteen of the 22 moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-state.

Sales Engineer Toni Bush-Nord grew up in Kendalville and attended the University of Saint Francis, earning her BS in English Literature in 2013.

Sales Engineer Cor Kline moved back to Fort Wayne from California, where he was involved in fashion photography and editing at The Goode Company and TravelSmith Outfitters.

Sales Engineer Michael Monreal is from Florida, but has lived in Indianapolis for the last year working as an Audio Engineer at Bowen Technovation. He has a BS in Recording Arts from Full Sail University in Orlando.

Sales Engineer Taylor Perry is a Florida native and received his Associates Degree in Marketing from St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, FL.

Sales Engineer Tim Burgess is from Oklahoma City where he received his Associates Degree in Music Production at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

Sales Engineer Colin Clifford is a native of Northeast Indiana and earned his BS in Music from IPFW.

Sales Engineer Logan Miller attended Hesston College in Kansas where he earned his Associates Degree in Music.

Sales Engineer Nick Rice grew up in Gurnee, Il, achieving his associates at a local college, then his BS in Marketing from Illinois State.

Sales Engineer Anthony Dentino has a marketing degree from Kean University in Union, NJ.

Sales Engineer Jordan Zylak is from Meadsville, PA, and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for songwriting before moving to Massena, New York.

Sales Engineer Jonathan Weiner attended the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, earning two Associates Degrees in Audio Production and Live Sound, then moved to Fresno, CA, to be the Live Sound Engineer for Speda Sound.

Sales Engineer Chad Ellis attended the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, where obtained his Bachelors in Music Performance. Before moving to Fort Wayne, he was the Engineer for Melrose Studios in Hollywood.

Distribution Center Manager of Personnel Development Julie Parrett will be in charge of hiring all Distribution Center employees. She served as Human Resources and P.R. Director for 80/20 in Columbia City for twelve years. More recently she was the Human Resources Director at Employer's Assistance Services of Indiana. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Almeda University.

Academy of Music Assistant Director Camille Hunter attended Spring Arbor University in Michigan where she got her Bachelor's in Music Business.

Steve Yaggy is the new Director of Accounting and Finance for the Sweet Family of Businesses. He is a Fort Wayne native, having attended Bishop Dwenger High School and receiving his BS in Business/Accounting at Indiana University in Bloomington. His career has included being a CPA with Crowe Horwath, then VP of Finance for Symmetry Medical, and most recently Corporate Controller to the President and General Manager of the Fort Wayne division of Panoramic Corporation.

Digital Marketing Analyst Mitchell Diehl moved back to Fort Wayne from Chicago, where he worked as a UX Strategist for a digital agency, One North. He is a graduate of Indiana University's Kelly School of Business, where he studied operations and technology management.

Marketing Data Coordinator Jordan Adams has a degree in music business and production from Columbia College in Chicago.

Videographer Daniel Custard worked as videographer and editor for Fallback Media. He is a Fort Wayne native who attended Canterbury High School and recently graduated from TCU with a degree in film, television, and digital media.

Sweetwater Studio Producer/Engineer Shawn Dealey was the Chief Engineer for the band Counting Crows, both as their tour Front of House engineer and for their more recent studio efforts. He has also worked as an engineer for such iconic acts as Santana and the Goo Goo Dolls. He'll be working with the Sweetwater team to provide live sound in the Performance Theatre, the Sweetwater Pavilion, and The Clyde Theater.

IT Support Technician Nick Annis spent eight years with Apple where he had multiple positions. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in music technology and music composition.

Support Technician Jonathan Rios is from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He earned his BA in Communications from Universidad InterAmericana in Bayamon, PR.

Support Technician Samy Coria is from Warsaw, IN and attended IPFW for Spanish Education.
