Sweetwater Hires 19 New Employees

Fort Wayne, IN, October 13, 2017 — Sweetwater recently hired 19 new employees, including 15 Sales Engineers. Ten of the 19 moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-state.

Sales Engineer Chris Ishak was a Sales Engineer from 2011-2012, but left to re-enter the ministry in Pennsylvania. He has since returned to Fort Wayne and rejoined the Sweetwater sales team.

Sales Engineer David Sueoka is a Fort Wayne native and graduate of Northrop High School. He has a sales background at both HHGregg and Verizon Wireless.

Sales Engineer Wayne Wildman grew up in Angola, IN, but recently graduated from Capital University in Columbus, OH, with a degree in music technology.

Sales Engineer Bob Chapin is from Oyster Bay, New York. He earned his Jazz & Commercial Music Degree from Five Towns College and his Audio Technology Degree from SAE.

Sales Engineer Nick Beach worked for Edwards Music Company in sales and as a guitar tech and at Best Buy in Home Theater sales in Ashville, NC.

Sales Engineer Taryn Ellis is a 2016 graduate of IPFW with a degree in hospitality & tourism.

Sales Engineer Logan Haffner is a graduate of Homestead High School. He spent three years in Bloomington, IN working for Stone Research Services as a Senior Interviewer and Job Specialist.

Sales Engineer Jeff Mitchell went to school at the University of Miami, OH, for symphonic music. He completed a certification in New York City at the Drummers Collective and went on to achieve his Bachelor's in Professional Music from Berklee in Boston.

Sales Engineer Josh Gumbert is a Fort Wayne native who attended IPFW before moving to Pennsylvania to tour as the drummer in his band. After moving back home to Indiana, he became the Worship Leader at his church and DJ'd around the city. Josh joined the army and was a member of the Army Band.

Sales Engineer Miguel Quinones is from Riverdale, Georgia, and completed his degree in audio engineering & music production from Liceo De Arte Y Tenologia in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

Sales Engineer Josh Pippin is from Evensville, TN, and earbed his BS in Audio Production from Middle Tennessee State.

Sales Engineer Christian Baer is from Berne, IN, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he worked in electronic calibration. Later, he pursued his BS in Music Technology from the University of Saint Francis.

Sales Engineer Myron Fett is from Mishawaka, IN, and is a recent Music Media Production graduate from Ball State University.

Sales Engineer Tyler Davis was a Sales Engineer from 2005-2007. Most recently, he was a Mortgage Loan Processor at Summit Mortgage before returning to Sweetwater.

Sales Engineer Chris Arnold is from Verona, PN where, for the last 4 years he has been a Sales Qualification Rep for Justifacts Credential.

Copywriter Darren Hunt has been in secondary education as a Composition & Literature Instructor at local colleges, Indiana Tech, Ivy Tech, and ITT Tech.

Sweetwater Studios Director of Sales and Artist Relations Mike Stanley is from Las Vegas with a background in commercial real estate sales. He was also the owner and front man for Conflict of Interest, a very successful national touring rock band for the past fourteen years.

Studio Assistant Anthony D'Virgilio attends Homestead High School where he is the Sound and Light Operator for the auditorium.

Receptionist Crystal Zick studied marketing at Ball State.
