Sweetwater Hires 22 New Employees |
| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sweetwater Hires 22 New Employees Fort Wayne, IN, August 31, 2017 — Sweetwater recently hired 22 new employees, including 16 new Sales Engineers. Nine of the 19 moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-state. Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations John Lubic's most recent role in his 20 year career was Director of Logistics for rue21, where he was accountable for all distribution and logistics for a chain of 1200 retail stores. Before that, he worked in operations and logistics for Dayton Freight Lines and JBJ Enterprises. He is from Western Pennsylvania and is just finishing up his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Seton Hill University. Sales Engineer Skyler McGlothlin has a Bachelor's in Radio, Film, and Television from the University of North Texas. Sales Engineer Joe Perrone is from Chicago, Illinois. He attended Columbia College for audio arts & acoustics and just graduated this May. Sales Engineer Alex Arvizu is from Peoria, Illinois, where he graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor's in Marketing. Sales Engineer Alex Rodriguez is a 2017 Ball State graduate with a degree in music media production. Sales Engineer Grant Embury is from Pride, Louisiana. He has an Associates Degree in Theology from World Evangelism Bible College in Baton Rouge. Sales Engineer Brandt Miller graduated from Cary-Grove High School in Cary, Illinois, and has been a staff musician at Willow Creek Community Church since 2009. Sales Engineer Matthew LaMarche is from Lawrenceville, Illinois, and attended Lincoln Trail College before transferring to Vincennes University, where he got his Associate's in Audio Recording and Commercial Music. Sales Engineer Abraham Sanchez is from Columbia, South America. He attended Full Sail University in Orlando, and earned his Bachelor's in Recording Arts in 2016. Sales Engineer David Brehm is a recent graduate of Owens Community College in Perrysburg, OH. Sales Engineer Trevor Parks is from Nashville, TN, but he was born and raised in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He attended Full Sail University where he earned his B.S. in Music Production in 2016. Sales Engineer Ronuel Viera moved to Fort Wayne from his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. He has two degrees: a B.A. in Music Education from Endinboro University and a Masters in Music Technology from Duquesne University. Sales Engineer Pat Walsh grew up in New York and graduated in 2015 from the State University of NY, Oneonta, in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry. Sales Engineer Reid Bright is from Carbondale, IL. He began his college career studying audio acoustics but ended up transferring to Southern Illinois for his BFA in Metalsmithing. Sales Engineer Josh Kattner is a recent Ball State graduate Cum Laude with a degree in telecommunications with a concentration in audio. Sales Engineer Scott Leininger is from Austin, Texas, where he was a store manager for Guitar Center. Sales Engineer Rane Haynes is originally from Arizona where he attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and received several certifications. Sales Assistant Zach Matthews is a 2017 graduate of Ball State University with a degree in music media. Digital Marketing Specialist Aaron Steele will focus primarily on the "Sweet businesses," Longe Optical, SweetCars, Sweet Aviation, and others. Recently, Aaron was the Digital Marketing Manager for Latham Pool Products. Web Programmer Michael Kelley is from Tennessee, and is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Support Technician Kyle Snyder is from Greenville, OH, and recently graduated from Ball State with his music media production degree.
