Sweetwater Hires 27 New Employees

Fort Wayne, IN, June 28, 2016 — Sweetwater recently hired 27 new employees, including 14 new Sales Engineers. Fourteen of the new employees moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-state.

Matt Roskuski has joined Sweetwater's management team as Director of Marketing for the Sweet Family of Businesses. In this new role, all marketing for companies other than Sweetwater will fall under Matt's team. This includes SweetCars, Sweet Aviation, Longe Optical, Indiana Helicopters, Helimotion, Aviation Specialty Insurance, Mynett Music, The Piano Store, Sweetwater Studios, The Sweetwater Academy of Music, Downbeat Diner, Crescendo Cafe, and the Music Store. Some of Matt's past assignments have been Senior VP of Sales and Operations for Cellular One; VP of Customer Care Operations for Centennial Wireless; and Director of Professional Services at Gateway. Matt is a Fort Wayne native, having graduated from Bishop Luers High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue.

Sales Engineer Jonathan Williams graduated from Full Sail University in Orlando. Originally from North Carolina, he served in the Navy before settling in Washington State.

Sales Engineer Brian Frushour is a Saint Francis Music Technology graduate. Originally from Mentone, Indiana, he spent seven years as an entertainer with Carnival Cruise lines.

Sales Engineer Randy Poteete is a Bakersfield, California native. He has been a construction manager since 2005, and has a background in sales with a Honda dealership and Best Buy.

Sales Engineer Brandon Miller is a recent graduate of Ferris State University where he received his music industry management degree. He is also a graduate of the Journeyman's program at Galloup School of Guitar.

Sales Engineer Dylan Fisher is from North Carolina, where he was the lead guitarist in The Josh Brannon band. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he received his BA in music with a concentration in business.

Sales Engineer Josh Claussen is from Wanatah. For the last six years he has worked at Front Porch Music near Valparaiso University.

Sales Engineer Scott Brobst is a 2010 graduate of Highland High School in Anderson, Indiana. He spent two years as a residential supervisor for Hopewell Center.

Sales Engineer Chris Moseley is from Virginia Beach. He has been a sales manager for Sam Ash and Mars Music.

Sales Engineer Nate Burkhardt is from Ohio, with a BA in music production and engineering. He was the business owner and drummer for the nationally touring band Centrevol for seven years, and has been a sales manager for ProSound and Stage.

Sales Engineer Tad Shaffer lives in Richmond, Indiana. He has been playing guitar on his church's worship team for the past 12 years, and recently recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

Sales Engineer Michael Wuchter was born and raised in Illinois, where he obtained a degree in business arts from Moraine Valley College. He has worked as a store manager for Guitar Center since 2002.

Sales Engineer Dillon Billman is from Bismarck, North Dakota, where he worked as a wind energy technician for Siemens. He has a degree in recording technology from Minneapolis Media Institute, and has been an audio lighting technician for Blue Star Productions.

Sales Engineer Jose Gonzalex is from Miami, Florida where he was an audio visual technician for Southern Audio Visual. Last summer, he was a sound engineer for the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, running front of house in stadiums like Lucas Oil and the Georgia Dome. He is a Full Sail graduate.

Sales Engineer Ken Nace is from Norristown, Pennsylvania. He is a 2007 graduate of Full Sail University. He moved his way up the ranks at Guitar Center, eventually becoming a store manager and trainer.

Sales Assistant Emma Casey is an Indiana native with an English degree from IPFW.

Sales Assistant Tammy Rivera is a Fort Wayne native with degrees from Indiana Business College and Indiana Tech.

Search Marketing Analyst Sam Dickinson is a John's Creek, Georgia native with a degree in mass media arts and cultural anthropology.

Photography Assistant Taylor Grennay is a graduate of Leo High School, and obtained her Associate's Degree in Studio Art with a concentration on photography from the University of St. Francis.

Marketing Product Manager Alex Fernandez has been a marketing professional in Florida for over five years, and is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast with a BA in Marketing. He also has his Master's Degree in Internet Marketing from Full Sail.

Pro Audio Category Manager Anthony Richardson brings more than ten years of music industry experience, having worked at Guitar Center in multiple positions, including his most recent role as an inventory manager in Westlake Village, California.

Human Resources Assistant Katelyn Wilhelm is a Garrett native who recently graduated from IPFW with a BA in English.

Mac/iOS Support Technician Justin Johnson worked at Apple for three years.

DevOps Engineer Nathan Whetstone has three years of experience at Allstar Communication, where he was a System Engineer. He is also an adjunct professor at Indiana Tech, where he teaches information technology. Nathan is a Fort Wayne native and graduate of Homestead High School.

Network Engineer Jake Redwanski worked at Applied Technologies, where he was a network engineer. Jake spent four years in the United States Army as an information technology specialist and is pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from IPFW.

Gear Exchange Associate Andrew Graves worked at Evans Toyota as a parts specialist.

Support Technician Jason Nash is from LaGrange, Indiana, and is a graduate of the University of Saint Francis.
