Sweetwater Hires 16 New Employees

 
Fort Wayne, IN, January 14, 2016 — Sweetwater recently hired 16 new employees, including 7 new Sales Engineers. Nine of the 16 moved to Fort Wayne from out-of-state.

Music Store Sales Engineer Gregg Conser is the former owner of Conser Music here in Fort Wayne. He has instructed hundreds of local students and repaired thousands of instruments over the last 20 years. He has his Bachelors in Computer Technology and Applied Science from Purdue University.

Sales Engineer David Merkosky is from Canton, Mississippi, and spent the last seven years at Edward Jones and Regions Financial Services as a Financial Advisor.

Sales Engineer Chris Nunley is from Glendale, Arizona, where he worked as the Customer Service Manager for Guitar Center for the last 6 years.

Sales Engineer Darius Beatz, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, has his Masters Degree from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.

Sales Engineer Cody Kraus is a recent graduate of Ball State University, where he majored in finance.

Sales Engineer Riley Koenemann has an Associates Degree from IPFW in Organizational Leadership.

Sales Engineer David Means is from Surprise, AZ. He was the Director of Audio and Lighting at Radiant Church in his hometown for two years.

Web Designer Kent Pribbernow has been working for Reusser Design as a web developer.

Copywriter Kevin Osborn is from Springfield Missouri, where he was a content writer for Everything Kitchens.

Graphic Designer Melanie Werner spent five years with the Los Angeles Times, where she was a visual artist. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts from Butler University.

Assistant Category Manager for Guitars Chris Larpenteur is from Cincinnati, and has experience as Guitar Product Specialist for both Yamaha and Gibson.

Gear Exchange Manager Jon Luick was a store manager for the Guitar Center store in Bedford Park, IL.

Software Developer Adam Gumm is a graduate of Purdue University and has worked for MedPro through Tek-Systems as a developer.

Product Tester Gage Morris is a graduate of The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, with a Certificate in Audio Engineering.

Bench Repair Technician Jon Wilder holds a degree in electronic engineering from Western Technical in El Paso, Texas.

Theater Assistant Tim Woten is a Fort Wayne native who received his Bachelors of Recording from Full Sail University in Orlando, in 2011.
