Sweetwater Hires 19 New Employees

Fort Wayne, IN, June 18, 2015 - Sweetwater recently hired 19 new employees, including nine new Sales Engineers, bringing total employment at Sweetwater to more than 850. Six of the new employees come from outside Indiana.

Sales Engineer Sam Hillman is from the Washington D.C. area. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production from Middle Tennessee State University.He was the Studio Assistant for Walnut House Studios in Murfreesboro and has also been freelancing since 2010.

Sales Engineer Sean Carolan is a native to the east coast. He completed the Audio Recording Production program at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City and since 2010 has been their Adjunct Teacher for Post Production and Audio Editing.

Sales Engineer Skylar Willis is from Augusta, MI. She attended Berklee College of Music for Music Production. Skylar moved back to Michigan when she was offered the position of Sound Technician for Bell's Brewery and she is now completing her degree online from Berklee.

Sales Engineer Nick Grawcock is an Albion, IN native with an Associates Degree in Math from Indiana University, Bloomington. Nick's resume includes Tech Director and Office Manager for Vision Lighting Corp.

Sales Engineer Carl Bleke attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. Carl has done editing, engineering, and production on albums in France and South Korea.

Sales Engineer Joe Copenhaver is originally from West Virginia. He attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology.

Sales Engineer Tyler Nickols is a Fort Wayne native who studied in Sydney, Australia at Hillsong International Leadership College for Worship and Creative Arts.

Sales Engineer Jordan Clohessy is a recent graduate of the Music Media Production program at Ball State University.

Retail Store Sales Engineer Chris Jett's resume includes 6 years as a District Manager for Korg and as a Regional Manager for Line 6.

Sales Assistant Olivia Birkhold joined the sales department. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana State University in Music Business.

Gear Exchange Team Member Nick Young has joined the merchandising department. Most recently, he was employed at Folkcraft Instruments in Woodburn, IN.

FileMaker Developer Gary Amstutz is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has done FileMaker consulting and development for the past 5+ years.

Videographer Kara Deister has a degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Service Department Returns Administrator Krystal Davis is attending St. Francis and pursuing a bachelor degree in Music Technology.

Crescendo Cafe Barista Cole Vian has most recently been working at Jeremiah's Brewed, a coffee shop in Auburn, IN.

Crescendo Cafe Barista Lois Smith has experience as a barista with Starbucks.

Receptionist Brooke Pratt has been working for Sun Tan City for the past nine months.

Receptionist Assistant Amanda Whitenight is attending IPFW for hospitality and tourism management.

Receptionist Holly Lentine is attending IPFW for elementary education.
