Sweetwater Hires 16 New Employees |
| Fort Wayne, IN, August 13, 2014 - Sweetwater recently hired 16 new employees including eight new Sales Engineers, bringing total employment at Sweetwater to more than 700. Six of the new employees come from outside Indiana. SALES Sales Engineer Trevor Krall has attended both IPFW and Ball State in Fine Arts. Sales Engineer Brock Andrews is a Fort Wayne native who has worked in the drum department at Guitar Center. Sales Engineer Chris Morris is from Wilmington, North Carolina. He holds a B.M. from UNC-Wilmington and a Masters in Music from the University of South Florida-Tampa, both in Music Performance. He most recently taught recording arts and guitar at Coastal Carolina University. Sales Engineer Ben Chambless's hometown is Snellville, Georgia. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Recording Industry-Audio Studies. Sales Engineer Adam Cesarz comes to Sweetwater from Toledo, Ohio. He holds a BS in Audio Music Production from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Sales Engineer Chris Goldbach is from Deerfield Beach, Florida and has broad experience touring and recording with several regional and national bands. Sales Engineer David Snyder ran his own business, Sonic Landscape Music, in Maplewood, New Jersey for 30 years. He has been a composer, arranger, orchestrator, record producer and engineer throughout his career. He holds a BA in Music from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. Sales Engineer Jace Hill is from Lake City, Florida, where he most recently served as Director of Worship and Music for the First Presbyterian Church. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Musical Theater Accompaniment and an MA in Music Ministry from Northwestern University. Customer Service Representative Kyle Little is a Fort Wayne native with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology from IPFW. HUMAN RESOURCES Talent Acquisition Specialist Jordan Applegate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Business from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. He has held two different recruiting positions in Indianapolis and most recently worked as a recruiter for Indiana Wesleyan's admissions office. He is a Fort Wayne native and a musician and has been a featured soloist for the Voices of Unity Choir and performed with them when they won the World Championship in China and again earlier this month in Latvia. MARKETING Web ProgrammerThomas Melvin is completing his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at IPFW this fall. Web Programmer Caleb Bertsch is from Bluffton, and holds a degree in Computer Sciences from Indiana Tech. He has been working as a software engineer at New Millennium in Warsaw for the past two years. ACCOUNTING Risk Management Specialist Stephanie Sharp has an Associate of Science Degree from Ivy Tech. She has 17 years of business experience. DOWNBEAT DINER Food Services Manager and Executive Chef Jeff Bunting spent the past fourteen years in culinary education at Ivy Tech, serving as Program Chair of the Hospitality and Culinary Program for the past six years. He also served as the Sous Chef at Sycamore Hills Country Club and ran the kitchen at several gourmet establishments in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Kitchen Staff Member Christine Scroggs is from Columbia City and has an Associate Degree in Business Management from Ivy Tech. GUITAR DEPARTMENT Guitar Evaluation Specialist Matt Middleton plays drums and guitar and has been working for B and N Construction for the past eleven years ### |
