Sweetwater Hires 29 New Employees |
| Fort Wayne, IN, July 18, 2014 - Sweetwater, the number one online retailer of music instruments and audio equipment in the U.S., recently hired 29 new employees including 14 Sales Engineers. Ten of the new employees come from outside Indiana. Sales Engineer Ian Roegels is from Oklahoma City and holds an Associates Degree in Contemporary Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. Sales Engineer Johnny Blaul is from Norman, Oklahoma and holds an Associates Degree in Contemporary Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. Sales Engineer Brent LaCasce is from Fryeburg, Maine. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Granite State College and a Masters Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Sales Engineer Adam Bruce is from Peshtigo, Wisconsin and holds an Associate's Degree in Digital Media Technology from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. Sales Engineer Andrew Neuenschwander is from Pierceton, Indiana and is a graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts in Tempe, Arizona. Sales Engineer Mike Winebrenner, from Fort Wayne, has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology from the University of St. Francis. Sales Engineer Justin Sunday is from Centreville, Virginia, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business and Production from Old Dominion University. Sales Engineer Josh Lively is from Murrieta, California and has spent the last fourteen years in the United States Marine Corp as a percussionist and audio engineer. He holds a Master's Certificate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Sales Engineer Brad Thomsen, from Buffalo, New York, recently retired from the Marine Corps, where he was an Electronic Intelligence Analyst for 22 years. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production from Middle Tennessee State University. Sales Engineer Steve Ploense is from New Richmond, Indiana. He has a BA in Music from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. Sales Engineer Philip Courtney is from New Haven, Indiana, but worked at All Pro Sound in Pensacola, Florida, as a Field Technician for the past year. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Show Production fromFull Sail University. Sales Engineer Ty Heimann is a Bluffton native and just earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Sales Engineer Jesse West is a Fort Wayne native who has attended both IU, Bloomington and IPFW, concentrating on music performance. Sales Engineer Kurt Cripe has an Associate's Degree in Music Technology from St. Francis University. Marketing Copywriter and Analyst Chris Rosene is a Fort Wayne native with a Bachelor's Degree from Ball State in Mathematics. Programmer Caleb Likens holds a Bachelor's Degree from Trine University in Informatics. Director of House of Worship Marketing Andrew Scriven is from Plano, Texas, and has been Marketing Director for HelmsBriscoe RescourceOne. Accounting Risk Management Specialist Jaimee White worked for Walgreens, where she was an Assistant Manager for the last seven years. Tech Support: Support Technician Ben Stokes has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology from the University of St. Francis. Support Technician Matt Nelson is from Marysville, Ohio, and holds a B.A. in Music from Capital University in Columbus Ohio. Guitar Department Photographer Patty Eykholt has a Bachelor Degree from IPFW in Photography. Guitar Evaluation Technician Chuck Wallace has an Associate's Degree from Indiana University in Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree from IPFW in Anthropology. Guitar Evaluation Technician Casey Smith is from North Branch, Michigan, where he received the Certificate of Guitar Repair Technician from the Galloup School of Luthiery. Guitar Handler Bobby Dellarocco has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Production and Technology from Capitol University. Distribution Center Receiving Manager Sam Gephart has a background in supervising, safety, and training, as Production Manager at LB Foster Co for four years, before moving to Family Dollar as the Receiving Manager. DownBeat Diner Line Cook Roosevelt Moore has worked for Wings Etc and Granite City. Line Cook Kelly Kochensparger has three years' experience as a Production Chef for Taylor College. Kitchen staff member Alana Jacquay owned a coffee shop on Columbia Street for several years called Downtown Grind. Reception Receptionist Laura Crawley has a degree from Masters of Cosmetology. |
