Legendary Doors Guitarist Robby Krieger Visits Sweetwater

 
Legendary guitarist Robby Krieger (The Doors) visited Sweetwater recently to show off the prototype of his upcoming Gibson "LA Woman" signature Les Paul Custom. Based on Krieger's famous 1954 Les Paul Custom, which was frequently used during the recording of classic Doors' songs, the signature model recreates every aspect of the original, from the replacement Seymour Duncan mini humbucking neck pickup to the ebony fingerboard to the authentic wear on the guitar's finish - every nick and ding is exactly like Krieger's guitar. During his visit, Krieger met with Sweetwater Sales Engineers, played some of his classic songs, and was interviewed for an upcoming Sweetwater Minute video by Sweetwater Editorial Director Mitch Gallagher (left).
