Elton John "Performs" at Sweetwater's Performance Theatre

On Friday, January 25, Yamaha celebrated its 125th Anniversary with a three-hour concert in Anaheim, California, as part of the NAMM Show. Artists included Earth, Wind, and Fire, Chaka Khan, Sarah McLachlan, Toto, Michael McDonald, and David Foster. The highlight of the evening was a five-song set by Sir Elton John, performing on a Yamaha Disklavier. The entire show was streamed live to venues all over the world, but Elton's performance brought his playing, via the miracle of the Disklavier, directly to a Disklavier in Sweetwater's Performance Theatre. More than 200 customers turned out after midnight to enjoy the show in Fort Wayne.
