Sweetwater Donates "Lead Gift" to Voices of Unity Choir

 
In 2010, Fort Wayne's Unity Performing Arts Foundation (UPAF) and its Voices of Unity Choir traveled to China to compete in the World Choir Games, the Olympics of the choral music world. They came home with two gold medals. Sweetwater was a major supporter. This year, the World Choir Games will take place in the USA for the first time, this July in Cincinnati. At a recent press conference Sweetwater founder and president Chuck Surack presented UPAF director Marshall White with a "lead gift" of $50,000 to launch the fundraising campaign to send the Voices of Unity to Cincinnati to "defend the gold."
