Sweetwater Welcomes the Indiana Music Educators Association (IMEA) |
| The state convention of the Indiana Music Educators Association (IMEA) was held for the second straight year in Fort Wayne, IN. Sweetwater, the title sponsor for the convention, provided two special sessions for music educators at its Performance Theatre on the Sweetwater campus on the day prior to the convention, in mid-January. The first session (pictured here), led by the staff of the company's recording studios, Sweetwater Productions, its manager Chet Chambers and engineer Nathan Heironimus, focused on miking and recording techniques, and featured a vocal ensemble and combo from nearby Huntington North High School. The second session, with Sales Engineer Vern Crews, provided a valuable overview of live sound techniques and equipment. |
