Sweetwater Expands Sales Engineer Staff

 
- Leading music technology retailer continues recruiting qualified personnel, adds new Sales Engineers -


FORT WAYNE, IN, April 19, 2006 - Sweetwater, the Fort Wayne-based leader in audio and musical instrument retail, has added eight new Sales Engineers to its staff:

Mike Arango hails originally from North Olmsted, Ohio, and is a graduate of Ohio University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications: Audio Production. Mike worked with Swinghouse Recording Studio in Hollywood, California, for three years, and has done extensive freelance work.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Matt McCreary comes to Sweetwater after living in Melbourne, Australia for the past two years, where he worked as a commercial insurance underwriter. Matt graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He is an avid guitarist with over ten years of home studio experience.

Alan Carter is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. A life-long musician, Alan is accomplished on violin, piano and guitar. He comes to Sweetwater from Staunton, Virginia.

Joel Gragg is a Muncie, Indiana native, who arrives at Sweetwater after three years in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a studio intern at Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, Tennessee and is a graduate of Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois.

Matt Milner is from Oaklyn, New Jersey, and is a graduate of both the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and The Conservatory of the Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. He spent five years at Indre Recording Studios in Philadelphia, and has two years experience selling professional audio equipment in New Jersey.

Ohio native Dennis Konicki comes to Fort Wayne via Boston, Massachusetts. Dennis managed a music store in Troy, Ohio for seven years, then received his degree from Berklee College of Music. He was a general assistant at Mix One Studios and also worked in pro audio retail sales while in Boston.

Jacob Perkins, originally from Houston, Texas, received his degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was a professional live sound engineer at several clubs in Nashville, Tennessee, and recently completed an extensive international tour with folk legend Nanci Griffith as monitor engineer.

Fort Wayne native Matt Adams attended both Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and Taylor University in Fort Wayne where he received his Bachelors degree. He is a keyboardist and guitarist, and has several years experience as a worship pastor in the Orlando area.
