The RPC-1 audio card included with the SPP requires installation in a computers PCI slot. As most laptop computers dont have PCI slots, there is no place to install the RPC-1 card. The only alternative is an external PCI expansion chassis designed for use with laptop computers. Please contact www.m-audio.com or 626-445-8495 for questions concerning RPC-1 compatibility with a Firewire- or PC Card-based PCI expansion chassis.
