Impressive Performance

Bought these speakers as replacements for a pair of similar sized Crates which weighed 60lbs. a piece. The Behringer is listed as 37lbs. On the box, 47lbs. was printed. At any rate, they are easier to lift and carry. Performances? I use them for small club venues, and they are fine. The speaker does so well with the higher frequencies, I had to dial down those bands on the equalizer I use with them. A real surprise came when I paired them with the Crate beasts. They just "naturally" took the mids and highs, and passed the lows on to the Crates. Will definitely use both at our larger venues. So, while these were at the bottom of Sweetwater's price range, they are at the top of my performance list. Oh, and I also use the Behringer power monitors and direct boxes. Guess I'm becoming a fan.

Behringer vs1520

To be honest. This is the first time I have owned a Beringer speaker/speakers. I can't believe the quality sound that they produce. They are very durable. And thanks to justin Rix for his professional service. MM.

Excellent Value

Great sound for the cost. Probably too big for our room, but the extra wide sound dispersion fills our room with almost a surround-sound experience.

Cheap party speakers

Loud, durable, and cheap. Perfect for blasting music for parties or tailgates. If they get rained on, easy to replace. If you're looking for loud, thumping music, and willing to sacrifice sound quality these are great. No one gives a crap about sound quality when they're drunk and can feel the 808s hitting their chest.

600 watt Beast

This speaker is big...size and sound-wise. We bought a demo model that was pretty beat up by the time it arrived. Outer box looked as if it had been 100,000 miles along the way! One corner of the cab had taken one heck of a slam, dented and flattened, but it worked perfectly. Surprisingly good sound for this price-point. Seriously, this speaker sounds way too good for the money, and if it still works after the slam it took..well,durability isn't an issue. We will buy another in a heartbeat, if the need arises. Pleasant surprise, all around. Sweetwater is proving to be the best of the best, time after time. Purchase and be satisfied!
