In 1988 Visual Sound was founded by Bob Weil, an effects-loving guitarist who wanted something that didn't exist. When Weil set out to buy a volume pedal with an LED scale on it, he was stunned to find none on the market. So Weil decided to invent the pedal he had in mind. After six years of studying electronics, mechanical engineering, and patent law, Weil emerged with the "Visual" Volume Pedal. Now Visual Sound offers an entire line of pedals, including models of classic effects. Guitar pros such as Eric Johnson and Johnny Hiland rely on Visual Sound to achieve their sound!
