Valley Arts Guitars was founded in the early 1970s by guitarists Mike McGuire and Al Carness. Their early focus was on retail, and repair, but with luminary clients such as Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour, Valley Arts graduated to full-blown custom guitar makers. Although Valley Arts was dealt a life-threatening blow by a fire that destroyed their shop, thanks to Gibson's devotion to the American guitar's heritage, Mike, Al, and that old Valley Arts magic is back! Handcrafted using the finest materials available, Valley Arts guitars are stellar instruments.
