The legendary Minimoog in software form
Since Bob Moog introduced the Minimoog in 1971, its fat sound and unparalleled filters have been a core element of countless recordings. And with minimoog V2, Arturia has taken advantage of their proprietary TAE (True Analog Emulation) technology to meticulously emulate the Minimoog's circuitry, delivering a phenomenal quality of sound. This virtual synthesizer plug-in is decked out with all the sonic possibilities of the original legend. But, Arturia couldn't help but harness the power of modern technology, paving the way for even more functionality than the original Minimoog offered. In addition to the classic Moog's three oscillators, 24dB/oct resonant filter, and 2 ADSR envelope generators, Arturia also adds the possibility of polyphony, MIDI management, presets, arpeggiation, chorus effects, delay effects, and more. Ultimately, it's an old school meets new school hybrid - packed with serious vibe and massive tweakability.

Version 2.0 updates - advanced automation, preset navigation, and more
Arturia's original minimoog virtual synthesizer drew in fans from around the globe, as it captured the sound of the classic synth - but packaged it into a portable, easily tweakable format. Version 2.0 sees new features - on top of the old favorites - including an advanced automation mode. You can choose up to four parameters and record real-time changes within the preset, expanding your sonic palette. There's also a new Vocal Filter effect, which gives your virtual minimoog a voice all its own. On the "Circuitry" side of things, Arturia added a few options to the core Minimoog structure. The Keyboard Follow can now be deactivated on VCO2. In addition, they've extended modulation matrix and added a few sources and destinations, including Pan and the Vocal Filter as destinations. Two random signals based on a Sample & Hold are added as inputs, and Arturia has also allowed for using the voice number (from the polyphonic range) as a discreet source, which provides an interesting way to control different parameters. Finally, Arturia minimoog V2 also sports an innovative Sound MAP preset explorer, which lets you explore sounds and morph them on the fly.
