LOVE THESE MONITORS!!!!

These monitors are amazing!!! Very great detail and sound when placed correctly. Strong build and look beautiful in the studio and these baby's can BANG!!! I tested these up against the KRK Rokit 8's ... read more [+]and these monitors flat out sounded way better. Excellent highs and mids and the lows come thru nice and clean as well. The selectable HF and LF switches on the back are useful when placing these monitors and tuning them to your room. Great price for some really great monitors!!! close [-]

Their slogan, "Professional just became more attainable.", is 200% correct.

I have used and have heard a different array of Studio Monitors. I have used Yamaha NS-10's, Meyer HD-1, Mackie Active 824, M-Audio Bx8a (Not the Deluxe Version). I have heard/listened to JBL 4328P's,... read more [+] & Dynaudio BM15A.

Now I have spent a VERY long time comparing Studio Monitors within the same price range (Going for 8-inch Monitors), such as, M-Audio BX8a Deluxe, Mackie MR8, Yamaha HS80M & of course these JBL LSR 2328.

In the end, i was trying to choose between the BX8a Deluxe and the JBL's. The BX8a's have ALOT of low-end, which is good to me, but bad at the same time, but i loved the low-end the BX8a's produced. But i wasn't so much of a fan the way high's and the mid's sounded, sounded very colored and un-natural.

When I first heard the JBL's, I was amazed. The clarity was great, the low end was good, but not as much as the BX8a's though. These JBL's have the same drivers as it's bigger brother, LSR4328, just without all the Room Correction. I can tell there's a difference between the two JBL's. But for this price, I don't think this monitor can be beat.

I love this monitor, the sound is Natural and amazing, I very much recommend these to ANYBODY looking for great professional monitors at a great price. And to top it off... Their JBL, one of the best brands for Audio in the world.

I would go on, and on, and on about these monitors. But i don't have the time to do it. Im too busy re-mixing all of my old mixes. =) close [-]

Excellent.

After exhaustive research, I found that the JBL LSR2328P ticked all the right boxes for our new post production suite...

* Extremely natural, well-balanced, full-range sound - but still... read more [+] very revealing.
* Bass response is usable down to the mid-30Hz region - yet it isn't bloated or boomy, and doesn't significantly hurt midrange.
* Highs are smooth and non-fatiguing.
* Large enough to do the job, but not excessively so.
* Oblong rear bass port works very cleanly.
* Rubber padding underneath is a good start.
* As studio monitors go, these are actually very easy on the eye.
* Unanimously good reviews.
* Wide sweet spot.
* Power to spare.

CONS:
* Rear-ported - so be careful with placement.
* No front power switch.
* Finer control of LF and HF Trim would've been nice.

I have the KRK Rokit 10-3 at home, and still prefer that all round.

But for the money, these JBL's are unbeatable if space is limited and you're after full-range response. close [-]

Couldn't Believe My Ears

I had been mixing in headphones for about a year when I realized that I just couldn't get the sound I wanted outside of those headphones. With some help from my sweetwater rep, I landed on these. I c... read more [+]ouldn't believe what I was hearing out of my mixes. I immediately noticed where the holes were. These monitors sound amazing! Of course there are better monitors out there, but not for $700 a pair. Tight, crisp bass and distinct high-end that doesn't color your mixes. I love these monitors and I would recommend them to anyone. close [-]

1 Pair + IK's ARC Plugin = Affordable Accuracy

I bought a pair of these with IK Multimedia's ARC software and was pleasantly surprised at how well these speakers responded to being corrected to a flat response.
