Nick LaMendolaAdmittedly it took me a while to figure out how to use this compressor. The controls are apparently labeled by and for the British consumer, but once I realized that "slope" meant ratio and "compress" meant threshold, I was loving this box. At any setting, no matter how hard I drove it, the pedal improved my guitar's response. It made me want to tear at the strings just to feel the warmth of the opto compression squeezing my signal into fantastic shapes. I really fell in love with the sound of this unit, especially for clean tones on the neck pickup of my Strat - I gave it all I had and it kept up with my playing. The rugged construction and variable input power section (9-18V AC or DC) make it a no brainer for your pedalboard. Buy this today! Also popular
