This system works great for clipping right on to the shell of a frame drum and micing from inside the drum. A bit of creativity is involved in getting the clip to fasten on securely, as it is designe... read more [+]d for a standard rim, but no big deal. Built like a tank, sounds GREAT, small profile, it really is hard to find a better mic for this kind of application ( micing the inside of a frame drum ). close [-]
