Definitely for Rock

The cymbals are nice if you are playing loud, which is nice if you are rocking out to System of a down. They have a lower end sound, at least compared to the rest of my cymbals, and would sound good in most rock songs.
Like the name implies, they don't offer much diversity, but if your strictly a rocker or font mind changing your cymbals between genres, they would definitely fit the bill. Personally, I play everything from metal to hip hop to jazz, and found that B8's sound great for a cheaper alternative to something more diverse.
Bottom line, they are a good set of rock cymbals for a good price.
