YPG 635
by Charles Stewart from Sequim, Washington, August 2008

Everything about the instrument is great and I really enjoy playing it. A really big exception is the Music Database. The usefulness of this button depends upon the Music Database List with its 267 songs, the titles of which are highly condensed to the point of most being unintelligible. I have been able to decipher only 87 of the 267 titles. Sweetwater MUST provide a list of the full titles for Music Database to be useful to those who purchase the keyboard.
Amazing!

This is just an amazing thing. I had a Yamaha M1A upright for years. My kids learned on it. It just died. I mean it couldn't be refurbished. Wore out. I bought a 7'1" Young Chang grand and had it renovated entirely, all new action, Steinway hammers, etc. Interesting idea: blend of oriental piano with Steinway parts. The result was amazing but I am not a great pianist and even with the keys reweighted I had a hard time with it. Unfortunate events called for the sale of the Young Chang to a church for $13,000 and they love it. I just bought this Yamaha digital piano and the purity of the tones easilyi matches the Young Chang acoustic. And of course there are all of the other fun things you can do with the piano because it isn't a piano it is a machine! Very nice and not expensive. I guess digitals can be fussy so I got a two year warranty for $89. Good deal, security.

This is the best keyboard piano out there for its price. 800 dollars! I know it sounds a lot but for the quality of its sound, from its true stereo speakers, I must say it's well worth the money. The piano features weighted graded keys; heavier in the low notes; lighter in the high. This results in a true grand piano sound. Not only is this piano realistic, it has tons of features. There are 500 sounds and instruments that you can play. There are tons of styles you can use to make your compositions more professional, and you can even record 6 tracks! This piano comes with legs for the keyboard, a matching bench, and a sustain pedal. There is a software called DIGITAL MUSIC NOTEBOOK where you can download and learn your favorite songs. Overall this piano is a excellent machine.
