Wonderful digital keyboard for all levels

The Yamaha YDP-223 digital piano sings in my living room everyday. From a daughter who is a song-composing pianist, enjoying playing classical to contemporary Christian music and giving piano lessons to 8-year-olds...to a mom who is not so trained on the keyboard, but vocal coaches using simple playing to guide disabled adults...this instrument has been a wonderful addition to our home. This piano with its great sound settings, recording capabilities, simplicity for beginners and beautiful professional sounds for a seasoned player is a wonderful instrument for all levels.

Versatile Performance

The features of this keyboard are easy to use and allow the performer a wide variety of options for set up. The recording feature is a good practice device as well as allowing for multilayering playback (ie: piano (channel 1), choir (channel 2) performer plays solo instrument part above the playback). Adjustments are quick and easy to make and give you a wide variety of sound colours. Only drawback is on a thick rug, the unit will still move a little if played hard. The only stabilizer is under the pedals. Could use one under the front feet as well. Excellent instrument.
