The Allen & Heath Xone:62 has also quickly become the mixer of choice for many of the world's greatest DJs, thanks to its pristine sound, its phenomenal VCF filters and its creative 4-band EQ. Allen & Heath Xone:62 at a Glance: Six dual stereo inputs - connect up to 12 stereo devices. 4-Band EQ on all inputs with in/out switching. Comes stock with Penny & Giles (P&G) Cross Faders Assembly. VCA crossfade + two VCF resonant filters for effects. Aux send switchable pre-/post-fader. Split cue facility. Booth monitor with independent level control and mute. 4-bar LED meters on stereo inputs - 12 bar LED meters on outputs. High-powered headphone jack. Switched-mode power supply. Six Dual Stereo Channels Channels 1 and 2 of the Allen & Heath Xone:62 have XLR Mic inputs and [TRS] stereo line level inputs, with "corrective" EQ. Channels 3-6 have stereo RCA RIAA turntable inputs and stereo RCA line level inputs, plus powerful 4-band "music" EQ. All channels have 3-color bar meters and gain controls, EQ on /offswitches and 60-mm faders. Channels 3-6 have a cross-fade assign section. 4-band EQ The Allen & Heath Xone:62 features a powerful 4-band EQ with "asymmetric" characteristic on channels 3-6; 6dB boost to preserve headroom and 26dB cut for creative mixing. Channels 1 and 2 have "corrective" EQ for mic and line control. EQ on/off switches are provided. P&G VCA Cross Fader The Allen & Heath Xone:62 is equipped with conductive plastic, high quality 45-mm Penny & Giles faders with curve switchable to cut or dip. Channels 3-6 can be assigned to X left side or Y right side, with green / yellow LED indication. The fader is a VCA design, so wear and tear doesn't affect audio. Allen & Heath Xone:62 allows drop-in fader replacements and features pan trim control for imbalance. Voltage Controlled Filters Two filters are built into the Allen & Heath Xone:62 (one for each side of the cross-fader) with choice of high pass, band pass, low pass or multiples e.g., notch. Resonance adjusts Q from "mild" to "wild." Sweep controls from 100Hz to 20kHz with blue a LED on/off switch. Auxiliary Send All channels have a stereo auxiliary send that can be individually switched pre- or post-fader. There's also a post crossfader send to the stereo aux, so a program feed to a zone is possible. The outputs are 1/4" TRS jacks. Stereo Mix Outputs Balanced mix outputs on XLR with level control, plus secondary RCA "music-only" outputs for recording. A post fade TRS mono sum output is also provided. The mix signal is displayed on 12-segment 3-color bar meters. Engineer / DJ's Toolbox High-powered headphone output with level. "Music-only" booth output on TRS jacks with level. Twelve-segment 3-color bar metering displays mix or cue/monitor section. Channel cue overrides the monitor selected in the phones [option for post-EQ on channels 3-6]. Split Cue sends cue signals to left and selected program to right. Mute kills booth monitor output. Booth Mono sum button for phase and compatibility check. PSU High performance internal switched-mode power supply. Universal mains input voltage.
