Fabulous synth!

It's hard to believe that this synth costs what it does, considering how much it'll do. To start with it comes with hundreds of presets, each of which has its own merit, and the customization options available with just the turn of a knob will give you more sounds than you could ever know what to do with. 49-key size makes for great portability and excellent as a MIDI controller. Durable hard plastic adds to the portability factor. If you're in the market for a low price but high functionality keyboard/synth, this is the one to buy.

This is one of those synths-that for the first 2 days you own it,you'll ignore everything around you;
nice weather,dishes,laundry etc.,to isolate & completely immerse yourself in this incredible synth!

Whether you're on a budget or not,this synth will impress you beyond belief...just the synthesizer mode of this keyboard is worth every penny of the price.
I have been a hardware synth based musician,& even though I'm not involved in pc interfacing-I still had to have this board...DON'T LET THE LOW PRICE FOOL YOU!!
So much is crammed into this tiny little board,that I don't even know where to begin,without writing a novel about it!!
The tactile aspect of this keyboard reminds me of my Alesis Ion and the Novation ribbon controller is the most incredible synth controller I've ever experienced!
I originally was saving up for a Access Virus TI Snow sound module,but once I decided to take notice of Novation products,I had to have one and put the Virus on the back-burner.

Novation products are the "Access" of budget synths and before now,I have never experienced a company that offered this much for so little.

You have got to experience this wonderfully unique instrument to believe it,as there is simply nothing else like it on the market for the price...I must be dreaming...:~}

This is a really great buy! I've had this for about 2 weeks and am still floored! This is an all in one deal and the price really blows me away. This thing does it all. At first I had my eye on either the Microkorg or the Alesis Micron. But this has 49 full sized semi weighted keys, lots of knobs, and you can do alot more with this then the others. Recording is a givin' but this is also an amazing live tool. Filter sweeps are a sinch with the touchpad. The arppegator and X-gator have there place in here. With the arp i've been able to create some Pink Floyd stuff. You can edit through a vast array of synth settings and create some crazy sounds and other sounds like electric pianos and such. And with one button press it also turns into a midi controller where I can program and control anykind of virtual instrument or sequencer. I plug in a drum machine, a mic, and my monitors and its an all in one studio! I can record guitars, basses, vocals, and anything else you can think of. It also comes with a helpful DVD that will help you get started and teach you how to use it. I give this a 10 out of 10!
