The SSL X-Rack Stereo Bus Compressor Module is a true classic! This compressor has been used on countless albums since its creation. It simply makes your mixes sound like a finished record. It allows you to maintain a dynamic feel, while giving your track that "in your face" sound that is so desirable. You cannot go wrong with this box.

Simply Magnificient... Best Compressor out there!!! My Mix just got some glue and I'm very satisfied!!!! Now I want more SSL stuff!!!! And I'm routing the signal first thru Bax EQ to SSL Bus Comp and with that I'm ready to master it!!!!!! Thanks SSL, thanks Sweetwater!!!!!!!

Exellent Bus Compressor even for Mastering Audio!!!

Made in Oxford England. This product is amazing, is the same Bus Compressor found in the SSL AWS900 Hybrid Console. I love to death this Bus Compressor for giving that finishing touch on every Mix or Track you make. A little of E.Q. this X-Rack Stereo Bus Comp. and back to correct the E.Q. and a Limiter and you are Mastering without Sacrificing Clarity, Punch, Obviously Sounding Bigger and with More Power in to your Mix. Is so easy and simple to use. No wonder that Peter Gabriel owns this brand, also your favorite Engineers (like Satan's favorite son Eddie Kramer) love this Bus Compressor. I found that 85% of the time if I'm using a AWS900 I end up Mastering with this Bus Comp. and other external hardware. I use this for Audio or Audio Post-Production (the link feature is great for Surround if you have the $..) The only downside is the price (there is another brand that I don't want to mention that is this exact Bus Comp. but way cheaper). I love SSL product they are Pro Audio products and this are in the same family as the Super Analogue, so they have the same quality of the best of the SSL line of products. If you have the $$$ and you already try this before. I highly recommend as a good investment for any Studio, Start saving for quality products if you want to compete with the industry and choose wisely.

This is a fantastic Mix Bus Compressor and it see's a lot of work in my studio. I will only give it a 4 star rating because the price is very high compared to some other bus compressors that will deliver about the same results.

However, the quality and sound is top notch, looks sexy enough to spoon, and youre buying from a well respected manufacturer whose gear is being used by top studios and artists all over the world. Dont overlook this one!
