I bought this rack to house a pair of Sennheiser wireless receivers, an antenna splitter, so I can use just one pair of antennas, and a power conditioner. It is quite spacious even though it is a shal... read more [+]low rack. I keep my cables in there also, so I don't have to hunt for them during setup at jobs. What is really nice is that the cover is deep enough to keep the antennas attached and simply protected and covered by the cover, so I don't have to hunt for those either. Makes for an easy and quick setup, and provides adequate protection - I'm fairly gentle with my equipment, so I expect this will protect my investment for some time to come. One part I am not so crazy about is the rear cover. It is less sturdy than the rest of the case. I have an old SKB that I keep a 1995 GK 800 RB in, and even though the rear cover is no longer used - poor design - the closure pins broke and long since have not been used, the GK is still like new. January 31, 2013 Music Background: Live sound professional, bass guitarist and singer. The new case has an improved rear cover design, but is not great. I could foresee someone less gentle than I damaging their valuable equipment.because of the rear cover.
