OK...maybe not "blown away" exactly, but this pedal is what all clonewheel controllers should be, imo. Many of the later-model original Hammond consoles and spinets had a similar kick switch mounted ... read more [+]on the sides of expression pedals...some controlling C/V operation and others dedicated to Leslie switching...and to most of us who grew up playing these, this is right where it should be. It allows us to use one foot to control both rotary fx function and volume, leaving the other free for kickin' the sticks (playing pedal claviers), operating damper pedals for other instruments or switching outboard fx boxes. I wouldn't have it any other way, and quite frankly am perplexed as to why there aren't more expression/volume pedal manufacturers offering this option, as well as an option with programmable switches on both sides of the pedal. As alluded to in the previous sentence, the function of this switch is programmable, so you can do other things with it besides switch rotary effect fast/chorale speeds, such as turning on percussion or advancing presets. The volume pedal works well and is much like an authentic Hammond pedal but the side Leslie switch is quite awkward. A stomp switch would have been much better mounted at the low volume area so you co... read more [+]uld operate the switch with the other foot and still have the right foot on the volume pedal. I plan to have my pedal rewired to a stomp switch on the Leslie. Great idea to locate the volume and Leslie switch at the same location close [-]
