Great tone, compact and easy to use. Manufacture claims 100 feet with in line of sight without signal drop. I am lucky if I can go 40 feet.

Originally i was going for the Samson Airline series for my Gretch Duo Jet. But as i was browsing around notice this X2 and it is the only digital intrument wireless on the planet.

Took it home and tried and sound absolutely horrible. But my friend told me to not use the povide cable. Since i dont' have an extra one, i made my own. The result? wonder. Although i notice a slight drop in my sustain, my tone and attack and evetything else remain the same if not better. I took it to my church the next day and i left my pedalboard (with the receive) at the stage and i went the back of the church (more than 170ft). Yup, the receiver still picked it up well.

The reason i gave it a 4/5 is due to the bad cable and the clip is also bad. It is so weak that having it is like not have it.

When I told Mike Rancourt that I was wanting a wireless unit that would be perfect for my bass & guitar gigs, he recommended the XDS95 Digital wireless system. I was very concerned about signal degradation that occurs with conventional analog units companding my signal. Typically I use monster cable on my rigs and after A/B'ing the two I could not tell the sonic differences between the two!

This unit is as good as as he said it was and it works perfectly and flawlessly! I'll never go back to being tethered to my amp again! I highly recommend getting the AC converter for the receiver unit though... you'll save on batteries. Thanks again Mike!!!
