The Wireless System Guitarists Have Been Waiting For!

The X2 Digital Wireless Systems XDS95 wireless UHF system gives your guitar or bass rig the freedom to be played just about anywhere you want to take it! Featuring a stompbox-style transmitter and receiver, the XDS95 gives you a wireless solution that fits in easily with your effects pedals, as well as on your amplifier. This is especially important to guitarists, who will love the great sound and convenience of the XDS95.

X2 Digital Wireless Systems XDS95 Wireless UHF System at a Glance:
  • Quality, compact transmitter
  • Accurate, stompbox-style receiver

Quality, compact transmitter
The X2 Digital Wireless Systems XDT1 UHF transmitter frees up your guitar playing, and its compact chassis fits comfortably in any pedalboard setup. Connect the 1/4" input to your stompbox's output, match channels with the receiver, and you're ready to rock, wirelessly! While some systems can alter your tone and dramatically affect what comes out of your amp, the XDT1 puts out what it takes in for accurate, quality sound. A multifunction LED indicator gives you a VU meter, plus channel alignment and battery life information, and it's all onboard the XDT1.

Accurate, stompbox-style receiver
The X2 Digital Wireless Systems XDR1 receiver puts the convenience of a quality wireless signal in a stompbox-style unit that's great for amplifier connections. Simply connect the 1/4" output plug directly to your amp, make sure your transmitter and the XDR1 receiver are set to the same channel, and you're ready to go! High-quality A/D resolution gives you the best possible signal quality, and the onboard LED display shows ower, link, channel, battery, and level information. Free up your playing with the X2 Digital Wireless Systems XDR1!

Worry-free Wireless!

We wanted you to know that all of the wireless systems you see here - and all of the wireless systems available at Sweetwater - are 100% compliant with the Federal Communication Commission's new rules governing wireless systems. You can be confident that these systems will work safely and within the permitted frequency/power ranges, just as they are. Amazing

by Andy Krishak from State College PA

Music Background: Been playing bass for 36 years - Weekend warrior
I had tried a couple others and could not deal with the "compression" and tone coloring, let alone total loss of bottom end for my bass. I got this yesterday afternoon and had rehearsal a couple hour... read more [+]s later. Took me 2 minutes to set it up the first time (without reading instructions) - total no-brainer. Will be using for a very important job this weekend with no reservations.

I don't quite understand this, but my sound seems clearer with this and I normally use decent cables. I did have to play around with how I wanted the transmitter to hook on to my strap, but that was it. close [-]

Excellent system!

Music Background: Small Gig, Church Musician
I got this device because of the Line6 brand and wanting to step into wireless on the cheap, but was skeptical of sound quality. Once I got it in and started to use it, I was blown away by the qualit... read more [+]y. I got pure wireless freedom with clear delivery and no tone coloring. I can't tell the difference between this system and the Monster instrument cable I bought a few months earlier.

As an added bonus, this did not interfere with any of the pre-existing wireless equipment. It was truly plug and play.

I would definitely recommend this not only as a way to get wireless on the cheap, but as the solution for going wireless. close [-]

Powerful littie thing

Users are complaining mainly three issues.
Here's my opnion.
1 Quick battery drain
I use power adapter for receiver with no problem.
some effect unit makes noise when it ... read more [+]supplied with non-regulated power, but this one is not really picky for DC power quality. For transmitter, it last 5 hours which is enough for normal gig - who play over 5 hours with no break??

2.Short range.
I tested it and it cover 50ft or so before modification(do it on your own risk). After I installed 2 wifi antenna, wow!! it works like $1000 unit. i couldn't measure the actual range after the mod because I don't have that wide place to test.

3.Poor construction.
Some wants it to be metal housing for this. Maybe they want thier bike helmet to be metal as well.
This is strong and light weighted and easy to carry, no need to be more sturdy.
The belt clip looks cheap and unreliable like most transmitter does- i put this in a pocket and belted on my strap.
I have used old shure vhf unit and some nasty nady unit at that era and upgraded shure UT series. i also have tried some recent audio-technica and sennheiser unit, this is the perfect wireless system i've ever used.
Even someone who can difference wav and high-rated converted MP3,they can't tell difference between this and cabled sound.
I strongly recommend this system to all guitarist and bassist or anyone want to be unleashed from cable without loosing thier tone. close [-]

Typically I use monster cable on my rigs and after A/B'ing the two I could not tell the sonic differences between the two!

This unit is as good as as he said it was and it works perfectly and flawlessly! I'll never go back to being tethered to my amp again! I highly recommend getting the AC converter for the receiver unit though... you'll save on batteries. Thanks again Mike!!!
