I had tried a couple others and could not deal with the "compression" and tone coloring, let alone total loss of bottom end for my bass. Will be using for a very important job this weekend with no reservations. February 24, 2010 Music Background: Been playing bass for 36 years - Weekend warrior I don't quite understand this, but my sound seems clearer with this and I normally use decent cables. I did have to play around with how I wanted the transmitter to hook on to my strap, but that was it. close [-] Excellent system!

I got this device because of the Line6 brand and wanting to step into wireless on the cheap, but was skeptical of sound quality. I can't tell the difference between this system and the Monster instrument cable I bought a few months earlier. November 17, 2009 Music Background: Small Gig, Church Musician As an added bonus, this did not interfere with any of the pre-existing wireless equipment. It was truly plug and play. I would definitely recommend this not only as a way to get wireless on the cheap, but as the solution for going wireless. close [-] Powerful littie thing

For transmitter, it last 5 hours which is enough for normal gig - who play over 5 hours with no break?? 2.Short range. I tested it and it cover 50ft or so before modification(do it on your own risk). After I installed 2 wifi antenna, wow!! it works like $1000 unit. i couldn't measure the actual range after the mod because I don't have that wide place to test. 3.Poor construction. Some wants it to be metal housing for this. Maybe they want thier bike helmet to be metal as well. This is strong and light weighted and easy to carry, no need to be more sturdy. The belt clip looks cheap and unreliable like most transmitter does- i put this in a pocket and belted on my strap. I have used old shure vhf unit and some nasty nady unit at that era and upgraded shure UT series. i also have tried some recent audio-technica and sennheiser unit, this is the perfect wireless system i've ever used. Even someone who can difference wav and high-rated converted MP3,they can't tell difference between this and cabled sound. I strongly recommend this system to all guitarist and bassist or anyone want to be unleashed from cable without loosing thier tone. close [-] outstanding wireless unit!
